Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Strumpfhalter, be- stehend aus einem Gummiband mit Strumpfklemme und Verstellschnalle- Bei den bekannten Strumpfhaltern mit einem durchgehend elastisch dehnbar gearbeiteten Gummiband besteht der Nachteil, dass die Gammifäden in das Gewebe hereinratschen, wodurch dessen Elastizitä verloren geht. Insbesondere ist diea dann der Fall, wenn die Gommifäden beim Vernähen der Eadteile des Bandes mit der Verstell- schnalle und den Korsett, Hüftgürtel o. dgl. zerstochen werden. Die Erfindung hat sich die Aufgabe gestellt, diesen Ueber- stand mit einfachen Mitteln zu beseitigen. Die Aufgabe ist er- findungsgemäss dawurch gelöst, dass das Gummiband nur auf einem mittleren Teil elastisch dehnbar auf seines Endteilen dagegen im wesentlichen unelastisch gearbeitet ist, wobei die durchlaufenden Gummifäden in den Eadteilen anverschiebbar festgelegt sind.
