Der Luftzuführungskanäl 5 wird dabei im wesentlichen vom Türrahmen 11 gebildet und ist zum Trommelraum hin durch eine perforierte Fläche 6 verschlossen, wodurch vermieden wird, daß sich rotierende Waschteile an den in den Laugenbehälter ragenden Teil verhängen. Weiterhin weist der Luftführungskanal 5 eine Anschlußöffnung 12 auf, mit der er mit dem Gebläse,-das vorteilhaft am oberen Behälterteil angeordnet ist,. bei geschlossener Türe verbunden werden kann. Dabei ist selbstverständlich, den Anschlußteil des Gebläses entsprechend dem offenen Teil 12 des Luftzuführungskanals formmäßig anzupassen. Außerdem ist vorteilhaft, den in dem Laugenbehälterraum ragenden.Teil, der aus dem Sichtfenster 4 und dem Zuführungskanal 5 mit einem perforierten Teil 6 besteht eine konvex geformte Fläche zu verleihen, wodurch die im Inneren des Laugenbehälters beim Waschgang rotierenden Wäschestücke wenig Reibungsfläche geboten wird.@Zum Abdichten der Beschickungsöffnung 2 ist um den kreisförmigen in den Laugenbehälter ragenden Teil 4 und 5 der Zugangstüre eine Dichtlippe 7 angeordnet, deren Zunge 8 bei verschlossener Zugangstüre 3 fest an der Laugenbehälterwandung 1 zum Aufliegen kommt.
