Description
Process for the production of a ceramic hollow body and system for carrying out this process The invention relates to a process for production ceramic hollow body in which any ceramic casting compound is under pressure is placed in a mold, drainage is carried out to prepare the body and the remaining flowable mass is removed, followed by further dewatering and the demolding takes place.
The further treatment takes place in the usual ceramic process technology.
The invention also relates to a system for carrying out the method.
Hollow bodies within the meaning of the invention are, for example, tubes and bottles or Janus tiles. Such ceramic products are known to cast in a plaster mold, the plaster mold causes the formation of fragments with its capillaries on the mold wall. The capillary action of plaster of paris is known. by To support mass pressure. In this case, however, the mass is at most with a pressure fed by 1 at.
On the other hand, when using the plaster mold, it is known to support the drainage to stiffen the molding by applying a vacuum to the outside of the plaster mold. These methods are relatively cumbersome and require a considerable amount of equipment and only allow the use of low pressures. The effect is uneven because the plaster mold ages and the capillary properties on the one hand not at all with repeated use in the same way and on the other hand not Maintains evenly in all places® The plaster mold decomposes with prolonged use. If, for example, in the production of hollow bodies by known methods, flowable mass is removed, this is done by tipping it out. In this respect, the shape must be handled in a special way. Furthermore, it is necessary for the subsequent work processes to remove the molding already in a relatively plastic state, which makes manual handling more difficult. This leads to an overall know Aus®ohuB because the molding small strength has: Another disadvantage of known casting method using plaster molds is that the dimensional accuracy iet low, since the molding after demolding an uncontrollable water content has bzx. also warps locally due to the above-mentioned unevenness of the plaster mold. Furthermore, the gypsum counteracts the electrolytes of the ceramic cup, which has a positive effect on the stiffening itself, but affects the return and waste mass itself due to contamination.
It should be noted that it is known to use hot. Allow to work. This is included as particularly favorable in the invention.
The invention is based on the object of a casting process for suitable Creating bodies that produce more accurate products is the working process simplified, the use of labor decreased, forms used which are neutral towards the cash register, do not pollute and hardly age.
viese. Aufgabe is achieved according to the invention in that a pressure-resistant form with urporous wall parts is used, which is lined with porous sheet-like materials at the points of the desired fragment formation, and that the pressure is divided into two stages by the casting compound in a known manner is introduced under pressure, this pressure is maintained for a certain time after the final filling of the mold and, after this pressure has been lifted, a further pressure by compressed air into the core of the molding to drive out the still flowable mass and after blocking the mass supply and discharge for further dewatering and predrying of the Formlings over-a certain time is maintained. It is advantageous to use a shape made of metal, but in any case a shape made of a rigid, dimensionally stable material. The mold wall itself can be provided on the outside of the porous sheet-like materials either with profiles for water drainage, such as grooves or grooves, or else with small drainage openings. The dimensions of the openings are determined by the fact that the porous ... sheet-like materials must not be pressed into these openings. It should be noted, however, that such openings are not necessary for the invention and therefore often cannot be used in the main applications, because when creating a customary mold package, adjacent mold recesses are arranged back to back in the same material part. According to a preferred embodiment, the solid form is grooved and a smooth surface of the sheet-shaped, porous material is created by means of a perforated or sieve plate placed thereon, i. E. this sheet is placed between the mold and the material. Substances such as nylon cloth, cotton fabric, are advantageously used as the porous sheet-like material as the filter material. According to another embodiment, paper is used as the porous sheet material. This prose sheet-like material is used to drain water.
An essential feature is that the prose sheet-like material is fixed outside the mold space between flanges of the molded body and advantageously extends beyond the flanges on the underside of the mold. Here. it is well recognized that the porous sheet-like material, for example! if. it is made of cotton fabric or paper, can wear out or consume. But this uses up a cheaper and easily replaceable part, while the construction made of solid material remains. - Contrary to the known casting process! who work with plaster molds, the invention does not use capillary forces to remove water. For the invention, the specified are. Pressure effects provided. The mass is advantageously introduced into the mold at a pressure of over 2 kg / cm 2. This pressure can expediently be applied in a range of 2 - 30 kg / cm2. It. it is preferred to use a pressure in the order of magnitude of 10 kg / cm 2. Such pressure not only contributes to the flawless filling of the mold, but it also ensures rapid fragmentation. The described arrangement of the porous sheet-like material is sufficient to ventilate the mold when the mass is introduced . The duration of the application of pressure after the mold has been filled depends on various factors! -which result from the use of the special ceramic mass, the intended wall thickness -and the permissible or intended structure of the product. In this context there is, for example, the possibility of ... _ printing for at least 30 seconds, for other products, especially for larger ones up to. Maintain 12 minutes! and mass pressure has to be maintained longer, for example with so-called fat masses.
Since the further drainage after releasing the pressure is not like: e.g. with plaster of paris through. Capillary action takes place 'the invention provides on the one hand to push out the still existing flowable mass and on the other hand for dewatering and further pre-drying before' daB@n.ch lifting of the mass pressure a pressure medium, in particular compressed air ', is introduced. This pressure medium is first introduced into the Form, still provided with an open wet stop, is advantageously introduced at a diametrically opposite point in order to drive out the still flowable mass. After this process; intended product in its time duration is determinable ISTL closed the form of connection for the input and discharge of the mass and the pressure of the introduced air is maintained. Daduroh is driven terialien the water in the porous sheet. mA and discharged. Advantageously, the compressed air is at a pressure level between 2 and 30 kg / cm2 added hears. The duration during which the action of compressed air is maintained for a certain period of time after the liquid mass still present is pushed depends here too on the nature of the mass and the thickness of the cullet. This action of pressure, which thus carries out two process steps, namely drives out the still flowable mass and dehydrates or pre-dries it, is an essential feature of the invention. This application of pressure can be maintained for a period of from 20 seconds to 2 minutes, for example.
Particular advantages are achieved in that heated air is supplied under pressure. In this way the demand following Trocknungsvorgeng is significantly improved and accelerated. Otherwise, however, it is pointed out that, for example, when producing elongated or large-area bodies such as pipes or Janus plates, slightly different drying is brought about when carried out through a dryer . In the embodiment according to the invention, the advantageously heated air introduced for drying the gate is distributed completely evenly in the product, which thus undergoes an absolutely uniform treatment, which promotes the final quality. The mold is then opened, for example in the production of Janus tiles, so that the side wall panels are removed and the porous sheet-like materials are removed by peeling them off. In any case, however, with regard to the predrying, it is found that the water is only removed by the action of pressure and not by the capillary action known from plaster molds.
If, for example, paper is used as the sheet-like material for lining the mold, the result is an absolutely smooth surface. Fabric or fabric linings have a certain structure that is transferred to the product. In this way, patterns or decorative effects can be achieved relatively easily. There is also the possibility of using a liner made of two sheet-like materials with different structures, which are then superimposed and embossed into the outer sides under the action of pressure from the inside of the molding, so that nub profiles or the like can thereby be achieved . Further, sheet materials under certain alignment with reinforced in a direction structure beißpielsweiae a tissue, be used for a corresponding profiling of the outer sides but of the products herbeiführen.-A significant aspect is dring that the porous blattför complaint material on one side with a Is provided contour that forms a decoration or a wine on the product. For example , a Scix3.ftkonr ®derw auaYDekorationamuatar @ eg a figurative representation in the form of an animal of a ship or another image can be used that is attached to the outside or inside of the sheet-shaped material. In this case therefore serves dos used to form liner blattförmi-ge material not only to and for easy Entformungl but also as a support for a profiling .. which :, pressed into the outside of the products and the engebraeht leloht ', or .E- are ausgeweahselt kaUnä an important embodiment of the lgrfindung that the shape of the surfaces on which a body formation is provided, is provided at different blue-shaped porous materials and / or different dosage of Abfußlöcher or grooves. and different sherden strengths are produced according to the differences. In this context, the invention creates a method in which special products are manufactured which have different body thicknesses over their extension in a targeted manner. -Yortsilhaft a mold used in the fitted äiemetral opposite sides with feed connections for the introduction of earth or of a print medium ISTG being disposed in said port shut-off Lind particular the supply connection piece for the introduction of .A composition below and the connection piece for the introduction of a pressure medium. are arranged at the top of the mold. In this case, it is understood DAB, the mold tapers towards the neck toward the funnel-shaped so that a perfect Materialfluse is ensured. As will be described on the basis of an example , the sections are where no fragmentation is intended ! not with the porous sheet-like material that causes the fragments to form! lined.
In a substantial form - the ceramic mamoe is fed through a closed channel from a storage container for the mass to one or more molds, and either in this channel or on the container the mass is placed under the required mass pressure. This can. done in that either a pump is arranged in the channel , which allows a return after switching off the drive , or that, for example, 3.n the reservoir facilities are available to put the mass in it under pressure. For example, in the upper portion of an overall se closed reservoir of compressed air may be introduced as long as the material is to be put under pressure.
The invention also relates to such devices or systems, the essential feature being that the mass is passed between the molds and the storage container through a line in which the mass moves back and forth, so that the mass during implementation of the process does not come into contact with the worker or is exposed to the ambient atmosphere. This is also particularly advantageous if a so-called hot mass is used according to the invention.
In Fig. 2 , the carrion clothing is also shown. It does not extend into the cones 12, 13, but ends at the upper and lower boundary lines of the semi-cylindrical section 5. The lining made of the porous sheet-like material extends & ah with the sections 18, 19 onto the flanges 8, 20 and is on these in a suitable manner, if necessary also by clamping the counter- shape . It can be seen that the. Flanges berthing sections 18 = 19 are extended by the tabs 219 22 downward, which contribute protrude on both sides of the cone 13 from the later Yormzusamnenetellung and nach.unten for liquid discharge.
The drainage takes place through the porous flat material in particular through substances that are used for Pormlining .
Instead of a tubular body with a correspondingly modified shape , bottles can also be produced. Here, a shape of the end, in particular the upper mold end closed, while the lower mold having end recoveries for forming the bottle neck. Through this retraction, on the one hand, the connecting piece for the introduction of the ceramic mass , and, on the other hand, an elongated tubular socket for the. later introduction of the compressed air, which is supposed to drive out the still flowable mass in the form , dewater and pre-dry it.
Another feature is that the mass and pressure medium are introduced into the mold from the underside.
