M 156627 KLASSE 30 Ar. M 156627 CLASS 30 Ar.
Die Sauerstoffatmungsapparate werden in bezug auf die Behandlung der Atmungsöffnungen des Menschen in drei Arten hergestellt :Oxygen breathing apparatuses are made in three ways with respect to the treatment of the human respiratory system :
i. Apparate mit bloßer Mundatmung: N äsen Verschluß;i. Apparatus with bare mouth breathing: Nasal occlusion;
2. Apparate mit bloßer Nasenatmung: Mundverschluß;2. Apparatus with bare nasal breathing: mouth closure;
Apparatus with mouth and nose breathing. With the apparatus of the first kind was the nose closed by a clamp, which is just as annoying by the on the nose pressure exerted how dangerous it was due to the possibility of slipping. Both Apparatus of the second and third kind was a seal of the kind inserted into the nose Breathing line necessary against the nasal walls. It was done in several ways, preferably, and especially in the case of the apparatus of the third type, by means of rigid pieces of pipe inserted into the nose from below, which drove the turbinate open until the tension created creates a seal evoked. These pipe pieces were rigidly attached to the mouthpiece of the apparatus, so that with movement of the mouth or the lower jaw a strain of the nose or even the pieces of pipe were pulled out of the nose.
According to the present invention, on the other hand, in the apparatuses of all three types the nostrils by plugs of malleable material, e.g. B. sebum, wax, greased Cotton wool, plasticine, clogged airtight. So that these plugs don't fall out can, they are made by any fabric and the nose whole or partially enclosing nasal mask or just by struts and straps in the Nose held. The fastening of the nasal mask can be done in one of the many ways known types happen, z. B. by buckled belts, rubber bands or the like. The nasal mask can also be attached to a cap that can be placed on the head or to a full face mask, which latter can then also contain smoking glasses.
To make the plugs useful for apparatus with nasal or mixed breathing, They are pierced through two small tubes, which are either just below the nasal septum or continue to unite. With pure nasal breathing, this nosepiece would be closed with a closed mouth or be connected to a respiratory-like enclosing mouthpiece, while for mixed breathing the two nasal tubes separately or combined into the mouth breathing piece will. The connection between the nosepiece and the mouthpiece is expedient through one or two flexible hoses.
Fig". 2 zeigt die AnsichtA device for mixed breathing is shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 is the side view of the device with a cut through the nasal mask. Fig. 2 shows the view
Die Röhrchen d sind mit den Rohransätzen/des Mundstücks g durch nachgiebige, zweckmäßig auch als Faltenschläuche auszubildende Stücke h verbunden. from the front and FIG. 3 shows a section through the nasal mask on an enlarged scale. The nasal mask a, which is attached to the head by means of a buckle strap b and a second strap c, has two inserted breathing tubes d. These are surrounded by a winding e made of cotton wool or another suitable material that can be soaked with fat. The tubes d are connected to the pipe sockets / of the mouthpiece g by flexible pieces h, which can also be expediently designed as corrugated tubes.
