Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet eine Bogenlampe für einseitige Ausstrahlung z. B. für Schaufensterbeleuchtung. Die im Schaufenster ausgelegten Gegenstände sollen möglichst hell beleuchtet sein, während die der Straße zugekehrte Seite der Lampe ,häufig abgeblendet sein soll.The subject of the present invention is an arc lamp for one-sided emission z. Diese Einrichtung hat aber den Nachteil, daß die Glocke halbseitig gar kein Licht aussendet und durch die große dunkle Fläche unästhetisch wirkt. Wenn die Glocke aber aus Alabaster-, Opalüberfang- oder aus auf der Außenseite mattiertem Glase oder dgl. besteht, dann gewinnt die Reflexion eine erhebliche Stärke. Die Abblendung kann durch einen Spiegelbelag oder durch andere beliebige Mittel geschehen.
