Die Erfindung betrifft eine Neuerung in der Ausführung von Kolben für Spritzen zu ärztlichem oder anderem Gebrauch, sofern diese Kolben oder die Liderungskörper an den Spritzenstempeln aus Gummi hergestellt werden. Zur Ausführung der Erfindung genügt die Ausbildung des Gummikolbens, dessen Größe und Form im übrigen beliebig sein können, mit Löchern oder Aussparungen an seinem Umfange, derart, daß in diesen unbeschadet des Abdichtungsschlusses rings am Zylinderinnern kleine Luftmengen zurückgehalten werden. Auf beiliegender Zeichnung sind beispielsweise Ausführungsformen so hergerichteter Gummikolben veranschaulicht. In Fig. 1, zu welcher Fig. 2 den zugehörigen Schnitt darstellt, ist ein gewöhnlicher Scheibenkolben mit halbrundem Dichtungswulst gezeichnet, in wel- 3i chem einfache Löcher a, die vom Umfange her eingesenkt sind, die Aufnahmeräume für die am Kolbenumfange zurückzuhaltende Luft bilden. Gemäß Fig. 3 und 4 können an Stelle der Löcher Aussparungen oder Lücken b vor- 4' gesehen werden, welche ebenfalls den Zweck erfüllen, Luft am Umfange des Kolbens zurückzuhalten, wenn dieser sich im Spritzenzylinder eingepreßt befindet. Eine weitere Ausführungsform zeigt Fig. 5 und 6, wonach die Aus- 4; sparungen die Gestalt von bogenförmigen Rinnen oder Kanälen c besitzen, deren tiefste Stellen sich zweckmäßig nahe dem Umfange befinden.
