Description
Projection apparatus The invention relates to a device which as Overhead projector is known and in which different types of image material at the same time can be projected into each other. The device has a known manner own light source, as well as devices for projecting films and slides. Furthermore, it is provided with a device which enables, in addition to to project further image material into the images generated by the device and it also makes it possible to combine such additional image material with images, coming from a projector arranged outside the device. The projection device according to the invention is essential for the so-called "overhead projection" set up, however, it can also be used as a direct working projection device. With the aforementioned "Direct projection" runs the optical axis of the projection rays straight as with the usual film projectors and slide projectors. When projecting overhead on the other hand, the light rays in the projector are reflected by several mirrors or reflectors Surfaces along an angled path guided to the last reflection surface get, which is arranged above the actual projection apparatus and from where then pointed over the operator's head at the screen will. Such overhead projectors are particularly suitable for teaching purposes, because the operator faces the listener in front of the Apparatus can stand.
The device according to the invention is therefore particularly advantageous because they have basic functions of a projector working directly with those united by 3 different types of overhead projectors of known type, viz the following: those that are equipped with their own lighting equipment and their light is directed to the underside of a horizontally arranged support surface on which is transparent image material and on which, for example, on transparent Material, such as cellophane, images are recorded by hand. The device met also the functions of an image projector of the type shown above, which Has means to project additional images ir. De: - i light beam. Finally, with the device according to the invention, however, a conventional mute or sound film can be projected, with additional image material at the same time can be projected, od that combined images arise. One device this kind is neit. Another advantage of her is that all parts that are used in Protrude from the housing when used, be packed in the housing during transport can. However, the idea of the invention is not limited to this, but persists above all in the arrangement of the individual elements for guiding the Lic'_itstrahls from one outside the housing of the device; ar ,,: eordnung ,. Pro jehtor through through the device and its combination with further image material, wherein both different original images are projected using the same light beam, as well as in the arrangement of an image projector arranged in the housing of the device. An essential purpose of the invention is to create a multipurpose projector, which is provided with a light source consisting of a lamp and a cooling device as well as having condenser lenses and reflective surfaces for the purpose a beam of light on different paths through the device on one To direct screen, which has means for placing image material, the is arranged across the light beam and is used for manuscripts or drawings or the like, which are also only designed during projecting, project to be able to.
Another essential advantage of the device according to the invention is that it has a lens system and a guide device for slides. Furthermore .i:>1; the device according to the invention is set up in such a way that it enables images from a projector arranged outside its housing, which can be stationary or moved, to be passed through the device and combined with other material arranged in the device to be projected. The device according to the invention is also designed so that the projector arranged in its housing can also be used for direct projection. . Another advantage is the design of the device according to the invention in such a way that it is possible in a simple manner, despite the multiple possible uses, to quickly switch the device from one type of projection to another without the need to interrupt the type of projection that has just been set. Furthermore, the combined projection device according to the invention has means for guiding the light beam of the projector arranged inside, which make it possible to project an image of the same size as is produced by the usual lenses of a projector arranged outside the device .
Another advantageous feature of the invention is the arrangement of reels for a tape of transparent material, for example cellophane. Such a belt is arranged on a 8pulenpaar and can be moved, without allowing the tape rewound on a reel or must be separated from the On the other ren. A further advantage is that ren of a usage type for the On the other or can be passed to any combination, without interrupting the current projection to münnen where :. is indifferent in it, whether still or moving pictures projected simultaneously combined with hand drawings or other characters currently stationary or moving images individually or together. Essentially, the device according to the invention consists of a right-angled ganten, in which all parts that are arranged outside in the position of use can be accommodated. Inside is. Furthermore, a conventional projection apparatus for transparent image material is arranged, which is adjustable. A reflective surface located near the front wall of the housing throws the image backwards from the projector onto another reflective surface, which is arranged below an opening in the top of the housing at an angle to it and in which a condensing freanel is arranged between 2 transparent plates is. The first, nth reflective surface is connected to a pivoted plate which is pivotable inwardly from the opening in the front of the housing so that images produced by a known projection apparatus for still or moving images directly through the opening and then can be thrown onto the second reflective surface arranged at an angle.
In the side wall 11 of the housing 1o an opening 12 is arranged, in front of which a reflective surface 79 is located. The surface 79 is arranged pivotably inside the housing (Fig.l and 3) and held by angle irons 8o and 81, which together form a triangular part 82 which is laterally bounded by vertically arranged, overlapping flange parts 83 and 84. which receive the perpendicular edges of the reflective surface 79. The triangular member 82 is hinged to the inner surface of the front wall 11 with the aid of tangs 85 (FIG. 3), so that it can be pivoted in the direction of the arrow 86 (dash-dotted line 87 in FIG. 4). A finger grip hole 88 is arranged in the front wall of the device 88 (FIGS. 2 and 3), with the aid of which the device can be pivoted about the hinges 85. It can be held in the closed frame with the aid of the device 89 shown in FIG. The second reflective surface 9o is arranged in an inclined manner in the housing (FIG. 1) and is held by bearing surfaces 91 on which it is held with the aid of an overflowing band 93 and a clamp 92. The Aüf_Lagefläche 91 is in turn connected to the side wall 17 or to the rear wall length 13. A condensing lens 94 (condensing fresnel) is arranged and dimensioned between the reflective surface 90 and the underside of the surface 24 in such a way that the opening 28 is completely closed, being held parallel to the surface 24 by the glasses 95 and 96. These are in turn held between two opposite sides 97 and 93 of a frame 99 (FIG. 6) which is hinged to the underside of the cover 24, in FIG. 7 at loo. The frame 99 terminates in semi-cylindrical concave sections lol and log on opposite sides. Their task is to take up and cover a couple of coils 1o3 and 104, which are detachably arranged on the underside of the cover 24 with the aid of brackets 1o5 to 1o7 (FIG. 6). Flexible cables 1o8 and lo9 are connected to the coils 103 and 1o4 (11o in FIG. 7), which are located in the. Extend the axial direction of the coils (11o in FIG. 7) and pass through the side wall 14. The cables end in cranks 111 (Fig. 2 and 7). With their help, a tape made of transparent material 112, for example C-llophane, can be unwound or wound up from the reels 103 and 104. The frame, designated as a whole with 99 in FIG. 6, which serves to hold the condenser lens with its upper and lower cover glasses 94 and 94 , is with its concave parts lol and log on an inwardly bent angular extension 14 A of the vertical sides. wall 14 articulated so that it is aehwenkbar connected to the inside of the cover 24 (loo in FIG. 7). When the cover 24 is closed, the frame 99 is held in the position of use by the engagement of the frame part 98 with the offset edge of the longitudinal strip 113.
The cover 24 is in turn on the perpendicular side part 24 with the aid of the hinges 114 (FIG. 7) pivotably connected. Because the radius of the frame edge 98 up to the axis loo is smaller than the radius of the cover strip 113 up to its Axis 114 (10o r R or 114 R), the frame 99 is automatically detached from the cover 24, when this is raised. Of course, it is also the other way around on the underside of the Lid 24 locked when the lid 24 is placed on the housing to it close.
In Figure 7, a spiral spring 115 is also shown, which at 116 is attached to the housing wall 13 and the other end in a hook-shaped Link 117 runs out, which with the lower end 118 of the perpendicular support arm 32 is engaged. The feather's job is. act as a counterbalance and take up the weight of the arm and the lens set 37 (see. Fig.l) o The mode of operation the device and its operation is expediently explained with reference to Figure 4, which a schematic section along the line 4-4 of Figure 3 showing the interior represents the device opposite to the direction of view in Fig.l.
The device according to the invention is suitable in l to combine with each other recorded on the plane of the transparent material 112 or are arranged, with those that are arranged by the inside of the housing Projector 59 or by another projector arranged outside the device, projected (119 in Fig. 4). However, this is not opposed by the fact that the device is only used for normal image projection.
To better understand the versatility of the device this is briefly explained below.
From FIGS. 3 and 4 it follows that the projecting light beam, which is represented by the dash-dotted line 12o, exits from the projector 59 , arrives at the vertically arranged re: Gecting surface 79 , from there runs back again to the diagonally arranged reflecting one Surface 9o, where it is directed upwards and penetrates the cover glasses, as well as the condenser lens and the transparent tape 112. From there, the light beam passes through the lens 43 onto the reflective surface 40 and through the opening 39 in the horizontal direction onto a projection wall (not shown).
If, however, the pivotable device 82 with the reflecting surface 79 is pivoted into the position 87 shown in FIG. 3 (direction of arrow 86!) the images on the projector 59 directly through the opening 12, corresponding to the dash-dotted line shown line 121 directly to the projection screen. Furthermore, in this position the surface 79 of the projector 59, corresponding to the arrow 77, in the position 78 according to FIG be panned. As a result, the projection rays coming from outside the device come from the projector 119, corresponding to the dash-dotted line 123 through the opening 12 pass through to the reflective surface 9o and then the same Run through Hahn, as it corresponds to the light beam 12o according to Figure 4.
The device according to the invention thus enables the following objects perform. Images input into the projector 59 can be passed through the opening 12 be thrown directly at a projection screen.
When the perpendicular reflective surface 14 is arranged in front of the opening 12 the images can be viewed along the length of the operator's head projected.
Furthermore, movements that occur while writing, pointing or Draw the pictures on the horizontal transparent surface 112 or drawings, which are arranged on it .. while the other images are projected, they are also projected will. Also complete images that match the images coming out of the projector are to be combined and are arranged on the transparent layer, can projected.
On the other hand, only images that are projected on the transparent face are projected are arranged, the projector 59 can be placed in diehage 78 panned so that @ the light beam from the projection lamp-6o is only the condenser 53 and the transparent plane 112 interspersed.
Furthermore, as already shown above, it is possible to have one outside of the device arranged projector 119 to use. Sound films or silent movies; as well as transparencies or film strips can be used or opaque Material projecting along light rays 12o over the operator's head will. Furthermore, images arranged on the plane 112 can be used for this purpose using the other projection method can be projected in combination.
It is advantageous in the device according to the invention that a projector with an angled projection beam where it is possible is, both with a projector arranged within the housing of the device, as well as with a projector provided with conventional lenses outside of the same, images project the same size.
Another advantage of the device according to the invention is that you can quickly switch from one type of projection to another without To have to interrupt the currently projected series of images. The Arrangement of the spool pairs with the cellophane tape that does not get rewound needs.
