Description
Sicherheits-Skibindung Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sicherheits-Skibindung.Safety ski binding The invention relates to a safety ski binding.
According to a preferred embodiment, different holding elements take over the protection against ankle torques and forward tilting moments, for example in the way, that a securing against ankle torques taking over retaining element with a Spherical surface engages in a locking recess of preferably rotationally symmetrical shape and that a securing against forward tilting moments taking over further holding element with a spherical surface in a locking groove running parallel to the surface of the Skieben intervenes. The two holding elements can be combined to form a unit. The heel abutment must receive its stability communicated by the tension plate. Now, however, this tension plate is preferably designed to be elastic or articulated. Around nevertheless the necessary stability of the heel abutment reach, if this paragraph abutment is expediently provided with a mounting plate that is united with the tension plate in such a way that the ski boots at least with the rear part of its sole is on the mounting plate.
The securing of the paragraph against being lifted from the stand area can take place by means of a stop which engages the upper edge of the heel frame.
In order not to hinder the release of the binding by the heel abutment ' this is expediently carried out as the narrowest possible web, which on his lower end is combined with an associated mounting plate und'an his upper end carries the stop.
In order to be able to adapt the binding to different shoe sizes the clamping device, as known per se, is adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the ski and lockable in different prongs.
In order to be able to use the binding for climbing, it is intended that that the retaining elements are releasable from their engagement with the shoulder abutment and -in the released position can be determined as a result take place, that the entire block receiving the holding elements is displaced along the ski. But now there is also a certain amount of lateral protection when climbing as a standing area Serving tension plate required. This can be obtained by using the Clamping device combined a bolt, which with a latch at the front end the tension plate engages.
The attached figures explain the invention. They represent: Figure 1 is a side view of a binding according to the invention partially in section, Figures 2 and 3 different embodiments of paragraph abutments, Figure 4 one Top view of a tension plate of a binding according to the invention.
In FIG. 1, 10 denotes a ski. On this ski 10 is means an elastic tension plate 16 is attached to a pivot pin 14. This tension plate 16 is at its rear end with a mounting plate 18 of a shoulder abutment 20 united. A ski boot stands on the tension plate 16 and the fastening plate 18 22nd The shoulder abutment 20 includes the mounting plate 18 a web 24 rigidly connected to this. At the upper end of this web 24 is a guide plate 26 doubled. At a toothed cutout 28 of these doubled Guide plate 26 engages a toothed rail 30 of a stop 32, which on upper edge of the shoe frame 34 is applied. The stop 32 is through a screw 36 can be determined which is screwed into the web 24. The sole of the ski boot 22 prevents any deviation of the plates 16 and 18 from the plane, so that the web 24 constantly assumes an upright hesitation immovable. The ski boot is through a sole hook 38 pressed against the rear abutment 20. r The sole hook 38 is part of a clamping device 40. The clamping device 40 comprises a housing 42, which - on a slide guide - 44 for the purpose of adapting to different shoe sizes is adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the ski and can be locked in various positions. The slide guide 44 is fastened to the ski by means of screws 46. Within the- Housing 42 is a suspension: $ 8-housed. This suspension, 48- is supported on the one hand, 9: - by means of a support plate 50 against an adjusting screw 52, on: on the other side, the suspension acts on a piston 54. The piston = 54 carries a shaft 56 penetrating the housing 42 and at its free end the sole hook 38 is attached. A clamping lever 60 is articulated on the housing 42 at 58 to this Clamping lever 60 engages with a shorter lever arm 62 on a driver 64, which Part of the shaft 56 is. By swiveling up the clamping lever 60 in a counter-clockwise direction if the shaft 56 is displaced to the right in the figure against the suspension 48, so that the ski boot 22 is inserted into and removed from the binding can.
In its position swiveled up by 900 , the clamping lever 40 is locked in a metastable frame by the interaction of the shorter lever arm 62 with the abutment 64. The suspension 48 is preloaded. The preload can be generated before the ski is strapped onto the ski boot. After the ski boot 22 has been inserted into the binding, only a slight push on the clamping lever 60 is required in order to close the binding.
A retaining element 66 engages the shoulder abutment 24 (FIGS 2). The retaining element 66 comprises two retaining bolts 68, 70! each with a ball head 72 and 74. The retaining bolts 68, 70 are pretensioned by a spring 76 and 78, respectively. The springs 76, 78 are each within a bore 80 or 82 of the clamping element @ '66 housed and by adjusting screws 84 or: @ 8C` => with setting scales 88 or 90 " on different. eäiiriuneh- adjustable. The holding element 66 is' on the ski fastened by means of screws 92, 94.
The upper retaining bolt 68 engages with its spherical surface 72 Zn rotationally symmetrical PJIulde 96 on the back of the web 24 of the shoulder abutment 20 a. The lower retaining bolt 70 engages with its spherical surface 74 in a channel 98 of the web 24 a. The spherical surface 72 takes over in connection with the r.tationssymmetrischen Trough 96 securing the heel abutment 20 against swinging out sideways the pivot pin 14. The spherical surface 74 and the channel 98 hinder the lateral Do not swing out.
The maximum amount of ankle torque to be absorbed by the binding can thus be determined solely by setting the spring force of the suspension 76.
The spherical surface 74 in conjunction with the channel 98 determines the maximum value of the forward tilting moment that the binding can still absorb. Since the size of the additional forward tilting moment is significantly higher than the permissible ankle torque, the spherical surface 72 and the rotationally symmetrical trough 96 do not significantly influence the maximum permissible forward tilting moment defined by the interaction of the spherical surface 72 with the channel 98. The forward tilting moment is independent of the angular position of the tension plate 16 with respect to the ski 10, essentially even when the spherical surface 72 has already stepped out of the rotationally symmetrical trough 96 thanks to a corresponding hriii: imutlp , the course of the channel 98.
The holding element 66 is adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the ski, see above that the spherical surfaces 72 and 74 are out of engagement with the trough 96 and the channel 98, respectively step. This ß position is intended for cross-country skiing and climbing; the tension plate 16 can be set in this position by a bolt 100 with his The tip engages a notch 102 at the front end of the pulling plate 16.
Instead of rotationally symmetrical notch 96 and the channel 98 an elongated trough 104 is entered. This elongated trough 104 has a smaller edge steepness than in the direction A-A in the direction of B-B. When using the shoulder abutment according to FIG. 3, a simple one is sufficient Holding element 66 with only one spherical surface. This holding element can in the direction A-A emerge more easily from the trough 104 than in the direction B-B corresponding to the difference between the allowable ankle torque and 'the allowable forward tilting momento
