Erdalkalialbuminat gebunden wird, körnige oder pulvrige, mehr oder weniger elastische Abfallstoffe, wie Korkmehl, Sägemehl und dergl., benutzt. Mit Stoffen einer solchen körnigen Beschaffenheit gemischt, geht das Albuminat schnell ohne eigentlich zu härten oder zu trocknen, aus einem plastischen in einen guttaperchaähnlichen Zustand über, so daß die Masse sich zum Ausspachteln oder Anstreichen nicht eignet. Wenn der Füllstoff elastisch ist, wie z. B. Korkmehl, wird derselbe zugleich während des Trocknens geneigt sein, aus dem Bindemittel auszutreten, so daß die hergestellte Oberfläche uneben wird und abgeschliffen werden muß. Solche Massen eignen sich daher nur zur Herstellung in Plattenform durch Auswalzen bei einem erheblichen Druck, während sie dagegen nicht zum unmittelbaren Ausgießen oder Anstreichen an die betreffende Holz- oder Mauerfläche benutzt werden können, ebensowenig wie sie im unverarbeiteten Zustande aufbewahrt werden können.In the production of the in and for itself proven and cheap albuminate-containing clothing for floors, ceilings and walls and the like. with the alkali or.
