"Verfahren zur Verbrennung von Klärschlamm
und Wirbelsehichtofen zur Durchführung desselben".
Der Erfindungsvorschlag geht von einem Klärschlamm-Verbrennungsverfahren
aus, bei dem ein Wirbelschicht-Reaktor als Ver-
brennungsofen dient.
Dabei wird diesem entwässerter Schlamm
zugeführt und in einem Wirbelbett
verbrannt. "Method of incinerating sewage sludge and vortex furnace for carrying out the same". The inventive proposal is based on a sewage sludge incineration process in which a fluidized bed reactor is used as the incineration furnace. This dewatered sludge is fed and burned in a fluidized bed.
Vorteile bringt. So
ist es zweckmäßig, wenn weniger als die
Hälfte der im Ofen zur einwandfreien
Verbrennung notwendigen
not-
was
durch Temperaturfühler leicht festzustellpn ist, kann gemäß
einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung eine Temperaturerhöhung
durch einen zusätzlichen, temperaturgesteuerten Ölbrenner
er-
folgen.

nung schematisch dargestellt.

Experiments have shown that a certain division of the air supplied to the furnace has particular advantages. So it is useful if less than half of the air required in the furnace for perfect combustion is fed into the fluidized bed from below, while the remaining amount of air - in this case the larger part - through nozzles that open into the furnace above the fluidized bed, is blown into this; in particular, the proportion of air under the wind should only be about 20 to 30 % of the total amount of air. This small amount of air that flows through the fluidized bed is only used to dry, prepare and pre- ignite the moist, caked sludge, which is dissolved in the form of dust. The volatile gases are expelled in the process . In this, above the actual fluidized bed, there are currently looking Dende mixture of dust and gases is: then the main part of the air flow with high velocity preferably and thereby the actual combustion
achieved. In this area of the furnace, the temperature
temperature over E00 o C, 4.h. it is above the olfactory limit,
with which an odor nuisance is perfectly eliminated.
The temperature of the fluidized bed is around 500 ° C.
For example, 20-30% of the total air in the fluidized bed
fed from below with a pressure of 450 - 600 mm WS
and 80 - 70% of the total air above the fluidized bed with
a pressure of 200 - 300 mm W9 blown in.
Such a distribution of the air volume not only results in
visible of the required power - there are only
relatively small amounts of air with a higher pressure
to blow in - advantages, but above all with regard to the
entire process. Except for one possible
This process did reduce the inert fluidized mass
showed another special advantage. 3o is through
the amount of air flowing through the fluidized bed in the specified size

content, ie the amount of air is ignored

Air injection taken into account and balanced. So is
a regulation and control of only the upper air supply
required, whereby the lower one always remains constant. By
the 'constant air volume in btw. below the fluidized bed
