An demselben ist vermittelst zweier Ketten oder dergl. ein Schwengel h aufgehängt, welcher sich in der gleichen Richtung wie der Balken befindet. An dem vorderen Ende des Schwengels ist die Mulde / vermittelst der bei den üblichen Beschickungsvorrichtungen gebräuchlichen Kupplung, oder in anderer Weise lösbar befestigt. Die Aufhängung des Schwengels an den zwei Ketten k ist derart, dafs bei der durch das Füllen oder Entleeren der Mulde hervorgerufenen Verschiebung des Schwerpunktes dieser stets innerhalb der beiden Aufhängepunkte verbleibt, so dafs der Schwengel seine wagerechte Lage behält, ohne dafs am Kran eine starre Führung erforderlich ist. Der Kran, durch welchen der Schwengel mit der Mulde beliebig gehoben und gesenkt werden kann, dient auch zur Vor- und Zurückbewegung des Schwengels, so dafs die Mulde in den Ofen ein- oder aus diesem heraustritt. Dagegen erfolgt das erforderliche Drehen des Schwengels um seine Längsachse, um die Mulde, füllen und entleeren zu können, durch ein Handrad r.
