Unter den bisher bekannt gewordenen Filterpressen giebt es auch bereits solche, bei denen die Filterelemente durch hydraulischen Druck zusammengeprefst und gegen einander abgedichtet werden, und aufserdem sind auch Pressen vorhanden, bei denen sich über dem eigentlichen Pressengestell eine Schienenbahn mit einer Laufkatze befindet, mit welcher die Filterelemente angehoben und transportirt werden können. Auch im vorliegenden Falle handelt es sich um eine hydraulische Filterpresse mit Laufkatze und mit Hebevorrichtung für die Filterelemente; aber in diesem Falle ist die Laufkatze mit einem von einer feststehenden hydraulischen Kraftquelle aus ziehbaren, über ihre Bahn sich entlang erstreckenden Seil und dieses unter der Laufkatze mit einem Flaschenzug (einfacher Flaschenzug, lose Flaschenzugrolle) versehen, der mittels des Seils von der feststehenden hydraulischen Kraftquelle aus bei jedem Filterelement in Thätigkeit versetzt werden kann.
