Diese Schenkel berühren sich spitzwinklich, sodaß beim Auf- und Zuklappen des Taschenmessers dasselbe zwischen diese zwangsläufig so eingeführt wird, daß die Schneide des Messers sich leicht einpreßt und sich dadurch, genau wie beim Schleifen oder Abziehen, ständig automatisch schärft. Das Gleiche geschieht beim Herausziehen eines Seitengewehres pp. aus der Scheide und Einstecken desselben in diese, bei Brotschneidemaschinen z.
