Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
The subject of the present invention is a system of glazing for halls, tent roofs, Canopies, movable growth boxes and. Like., As well as for heated greenhouses. Strong glasses can be used here and quickly without putty and without any dismantling of the frame be relocated. The subject of the invention is in the following for double glazing described, but can also be used for triple or multiple glazing.
In the current double glazing systems, wooden frames are used, into which the individual panes of glass are pushed one behind the other and fastened with putty. This with Grooved frames cannot bear any significant weight. This also exists double glazing made of window glass, which breaks very easily. To replace a broken one Disc must then all discs in the same row below it removed. In addition, if you have a floor frame or a low greenhouse should be glazed because the roof is always inclined for the drainage of rainwater There must be considerable difficulty in getting slices of greater length at the bottom, while using shorter discs, the number of Connection points to the disadvantage of the tight holding increased.
In beiliegender Zeichnung istThe present invention is intended to remedy all of these inconveniences. In accompanying drawing

Figure 9 shows a clip for holding the discs in place.
In the figures, α denotes the rafters of the carpentry supporting the glazing. Specially designed iron rails b are attached in a known manner to these rafters, as in FIGS. 1 to 5, parallel to the ridge line or, as in FIGS. 6 to 9, on purlins perpendicular to this line.
Die Schiene besitzt in ihrem Querschnitt die Form von mehreren in abwechselnd entgegengesetzterAs can be seen from FIG. 5, drawn to a larger scale, these iron rails b are formed from sheet metal strips bent over several times at right angles. In order to give the rail formed in this way greater stability, this sheet metal strip is rolled more heavily on one side (about 4 to 5 mm) than on the other (about 1 mm). The cross-section of the rail has the shape of several in alternating opposition
Richtung neben einander gelegten U, und die Tiefe eines jeden so durch Umbiegung des Bleches erhaltenen U beträgt beispielsweise 50 mm.Direction placed side by side, and the depth of each so by bending the The U obtained sheet is, for example, 50 mm.
According to the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 5, the glass panes which are to form the upper ceiling are somewhat longer than those intended to form the lower ceiling. The distances of the iron rail b from axis to axis are to be arranged equal to the length of the lower discs.
To insert the discs c between the rails, it is sufficient to push one end of such a disc completely into the relevant bend of one of the iron rails b , and to bring its other end level with the corresponding bend of the next iron rail. Then you only need to let the disc slide into this bend in order to provide support for both ends of the rails. At the bottom of each bend, which is intended to accommodate the lower ends of the lower panes, a wooden lining e is placed, which is necessary to compensate for the differences in length of the glasses. The width of this lining is equal to the difference in the lengths of the two slices.
Different procedures can be used to cover the unavoidable joint between two panes lying next to one another. Two arrangements, which are shown in sections in FIGS. 3 and 4, have proven advantageous. According to Fig. 3, the joint is covered with a disc d, which is just as long, but much less wide than the discs c . According to FIG. 4, the disks c are almost as far apart from one another as their width is, and this wide joint is covered with a third disk c . To fill the free space between two adjacent panes c and the joint covering pane d (Fig. 3) or c (Fig. 4) at their support points, and to completely fix the panes c there, between two adjacent panes its upper end, a feed k of wood or iron attached, which T-shape (Fig. 2), is as strong as the discs c, and the arms of which has a width of l / 4 have the length difference of the two discs. Apparently, under these conditions, the lining k can serve for both layers of the glass panes.
The iron rails b are as long as possible in order to reduce the number of joints between them. These pebbles, however, have no serious drawbacks if one takes care that they do not coincide with the joints between the panes of glass. It can also be made tight if the sheet metal thickness at both ends of the rail is weakened, namely outwards at one end and inwards at the other, so that the end of one rail fits into that of the anesthetizing rail. The rails are then not placed with their ends against each other, but pushed into each other, and finally the whole thing is fixed in its position by a few screws and an angle iron f (Fig. 5).
In order to allow air to pass through one or the other of the glass ceilings, it is sufficient to move the panes d covering the joints a little, which is easily possible since these panes are in no way attached. In order to facilitate this work and to be able to detach the disc d , a small sheet metal strip g bent at right angles is arranged under each of these. One then only needs to pull on this strip to set the disk d in motion, and this movement is continued with the hand. It is started from below, and you can easily get to the hook of the strip g lying under the upper disk d after the lower disk d has been removed.
The rails b are provided with holes h and i at the bottom of the bends to allow the rainwater, the dew, etc. to run off. The rainwater, on the other hand, flows easily over the small obstacles, which are formed by the upper, only a few millimeters wide edges of the rails b .
In den Fig. 6 bis 9 ist eine Ausführungsform dargestellt, bei welcher die Schienen b zu den, in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellten, Sparren α (der dargestellte Holzbalken ist die Pfette des Dachfirstes) parallel und daher zur Firstlinie senkrecht liegen.6 to 9 show an embodiment in which the rails b are parallel to the rafters α, not shown in the drawing (the wooden beam shown is the purlin of the roof ridge) and therefore perpendicular to the ridge line.
The panes to be used for this are given a width that is a few millimeters smaller than the distance between the rails from center to center, and any length. To introduce the disks into the rails, such a disk, as in FIG. 1, is pushed with its one end completely into the relevant bend of one rail b and its other end is brought to the level of the corresponding bend of the next rail. If the disk is then allowed to slide into this bend, its two ends will find supports in the rails, as shown in FIG. 6.
Beispielsweise können für alle Scheiben Bolzen u (Fig. 7 rechts) v,er-The lowest lying disks c of each row (Fig. 8) are held by two bolts t made of copper or brass. The following washers can be attached in various ways. For example, bolts u (Fig. 7 right) v, er
