Zu dem Zwecke sind diese Löcher mit verengten Eingangsschlitzen versehen, durch welche die Stränge eingeführt werden, ohne dafs sie für gewöhnlich heraustreten können. Da aber bei einem starken Anspannen der Stränge ihr Querschnitt sich verringert und somit ein Heraustreten aus den Löchern c zu befürchten wäre, sind letztere mit versenkten Rändern d versehen, in welche sich die Ränder der Hülsen η einlegen.
