Da die an den Spulen ablaufenden Fäden zunächst über einen Teil des Umfanges der Walzen geführt sind, können die Fäden auch in vertikaler Richtung schräg geführt werden, ohne daß dazu besondere Führungsmittel notwendig sind. Der schräge Fadenzug wird durch die Haftreibung der Fäden auf dem Umfang der Walzen aufgenommen, so daß keine Gefahr besteht, daß die Fadenwindungen auf der Spule von dieser in axialer Richtung heruntergezogen werden.
