Der mit dem Springringe b versehene Reflektor α wird nun in der Weise auf die Armatur aufgebracht, dafs der Ring über den konischen Rand der Armatur hinweggeschoben wird und sich infolge seiner Elasticität alsdann in die Nuth d einlegt und festspannt, so dafs der Schirm stabil mit der Armatur verbunden wird. Dadurch nun, dafs der Springring b vollständig concentrisch zur Armatur ist und der Reflektorschirm gleichmäfsig in demselben gelagert ist, wird erzielt, dafs die äufsere Begrenzung des Reflektorschirmes immer in einer zur Achse der Armatur senkrechten Ebene liegt, so dafs ein einseitiges Ueberhängen vollständig ausgeschlossen ist. Gleichzeitig wird auch erzielt, dafs der Schirm nicht an dem Springring anrosten kann, wodurch die Demontage erschwert wird, wie dies der Fall ist, wenn der Ring einseitig unterhalb des Schirmes liegt.
