Hierbei hält jede Platte die über ihr liegenden beiden Nachbarplatten mittelst der schräg nach innen abfallenden oberen Stofsflächen d, gegen welche sich die in gleicher Weise abfallenden unteren Stofsflächen e der nächst oberen Nachbarplatten legen; ein Herausfallen einzelner Platten oder ein Vortreten ihres unteren Theiles wird infolge dessen so viel als möglich gehindert.
