Wenn man aus dünngewalztem Goldblech drei schmale Streifen schneidet, von diesen einen flach läfst, die anderen zwei Streifen in einem dreieckigen Zieheisen unter einem Winkel knickt (Fig. 1) und die beiden gezogenen Streifen α b mit der Spitze gegen den flachen Streifen c löthet, so ergiebt sich ein Draht von sternförmigem Querschnitt (Fig. 2). Man kann auch mehr solcher Streifen benutzen. Zwischen die Rippen dieses Drahtes , fügt man je einen im dreieckigen Zieheisen gezogenen Kupferdraht (Fig. 3); diesen sternförmigen Draht verdreht man mit dem Kupferdraht um seine Längsachse, und verlaufen dann die einzelnen Streifen nach einer Schraubenlinie (Fig. 4).
