AUGUST PRAUSNITZER in LIEGNITZ. Neuerungen an Falzen für Kochplatten mit Ringen.
Zusatz-Patent zu No. 5482 vom 6. September 1878.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 13. August 1880 ab. Längste Dauer: 5. September 1893.
Die vorliegende Kochplatte ist in Betreff der ■ Anfügung an andere Platten nach dem Patent-Anspruch No. i. des Patents No. 5482 construirt, indem an zwei gegenüberliegenden Kanten der Platte das in Patentschrift No. 5482 näher beschriebene Falzprisma angegossen ist (sichtbar besonders in Fig. 3 der Zeichnung und dort mity bezeichnet); ferner hat die Platte ein kreisförmiges Loch, in welches ein Satz Einsatzringe E pafst, deren Ringfalze r wiederum jene prismatische Form mit schrägen Flächen im Querschnitt zeigen, auf welche sich der Patent-Anspruch No. i. der Patentschrift No. 5482 bezieht. Die Anwendung des patentirten Falzes auf die Emsatzringe hat hier den speciellen Vortheil im Gefolge, dafs die Ringe bei ungehinderter Ausdehnung in der Wärme eine gewisse Stabilität und Unwandelbarkeit der Lage erlangen, was bei Ringen mit gewöhnlichen flachen Falzen nicht der Fall ist. Entweder ist bei diesen die Lage der Ringe unveränderlich, dann ist die Ausdehnung in der Wärme gehemmt, oder die Ringe haben in den Falzen Spielraum für das Ausdehnen, dann sind die Ringe unsicher gelagert, so dafs beim Rücken der darauf stehenden Töpfe die Ringe leicht in Unordnung gerathen. Das kreisrunde Loch der Platte hat zur Aufnahme des gröfsten Ringes die bekannte Falzfuge.

PATENT-Ansprüche:
1. Verwendung des Kochplattenfalzes (Patent August Prausnitzer No. 5482) aufplätten mit kreisförmigem Ausschnitt.
2. Kochplattenringe mit dem prismatischen Falz desselben Patentes, wie gezeichnet.
