Der Hahn, versehen mit dem Gummiring a, wird fest in das Zapfloch eingeschlagen. Hierauf legt man die zweitheiligen Scheiben b und c um und zieht die Schrauben d an. Infolge dessen legt sich die obere Scheibe b gegen den Hahn, während die untere den Gummiring an Hahn und Fafsboden andrückt und dadurch die Dichtung bewirkt. Bei zu starkem Anziehen der Schrauben würde man den Hahn aus dem Fasse herausziehen.
