Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es nun, eine solche Umlenkklappe mehr, als es bisher möglich war, zur Lufterhitzung mit heranzuziehen, damit eine besonders hoch erhitzte Luft in möglichst großer Menge für Müll- bzw. Abfallverbrennungsanlagen zur Verfügung steht, wobei die Heißluft nicht nur zur Beschickung der verschiedenen Brennbettzonen des Feuerungsrostes, insbesondere Rückschubrostes, sondern auch zur möglichst weitgehenden Vortrocknung der zu verbrennenden AbfaHmasse dienen soll. Das Erreichen dieses Zieles wird durch die Erfindung dadurch unterstützt, daß eine zwischen den Wärmetauschgruppen eingebaute Umlenkklappe mit einer der beiden Wärmetauschgruppen durch eine Rohrverbindung parallelgeschaltet ist. Durch eine solche Parallelschaltung kann in jeder Stellung der Umlenkklappe eine der betreffenden Lufterhitzergruppe angepaßte, hohe Erhitzung der zur aktiven Lufterhitzung mit herangezogenen Umlenkklappe erzielt werden 3 da sie selbst zusätzlich Wärme aufnimmt. Außerdem trägt die Parallelschaltung zum besseren Hindurchleiten des Abgasstromes bei. Der andere Teil des Lufterhitzers, nämlich die Gruppe B der Heizelemente, ist in ebenfalls bekannter Weise in einen oder mehrere der sich anschließenden Rauchgaszüge 7 eingebaut. Die Trennwand zwischen der Erhitzergruppe A und der Erhitzergruppe B wird durch ein Lufterhitzerelement 2a gebildet. Am übergang zwischen dem Feuerraum 6 und dem sich anschließenden Rauchgaszug 7 ist die Umlenkklappe 4 gelagert, die in der Schließstellung 4a bewirkt, daß die LufterhitzergruppeA mit dem gesamten Strom der Feuergase (Pfeile 8) beaufschlagt wird, wogegen in der gezeichneten Offen-Stellung 4 ein Teil der Feuergase in Pfeilrichtung 9 zum anschließenden Rauchgaszug 7 abströmt. Auf diese Weise hat man die Möglichkeit, den Grad der Lufterhitzung in der Erhitzergruppe A in bestimmten Grenzen zu regulieren. Die zur aktiven Lufterhitzung dienende, als Hohlkörper ausgebildete Klappe 4 kann einer der Wärinetauschgruppen A oder B parallelgeschaltet sein; im gezeichneten Ausführungsbeispiel (s.
