Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Verbesserung in der Verbindung von Bleiröhren oder anderen Röhren aus dehnbarem Stoffe für die Vereinigung solcher Röhren unter einander oder mit Röhren aus härterem Material, •z. Ueber den Flansch der Muffe α greift eine mit entsprechendem inneren Rande versehene Ueberwurfmutter c, welche aufsen ebenfalls Flächen zum Drehen mittels Schlüssels besitzt und auf den Flansch der Muffe a1 aufgeschraubt werden kann, so dafs die umgebördelten Rohrenden mit den Muffen zusammengezogen werden können. Zur Erhöhung der Abdichtung können die Aufsenflächen der Muffenflanschen mit kreisförmigen Eindrehungen oder Rillen versehen werden, in welche sich das Blei beim Gegeneinanderziehen der Muffen einprefst. Auch kann zwischen die umgebördelten Bleirohrenden, wie aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich, eine Einlegscheibe (Fig. ι c), die gleichfalls auf den Flächen mit Rillen versehen sein kann, gebracht werden, wodurch dann eine sichere Abdichtung zwischen den Stofsflächen der Bleiröhren erzielt wird.To establish the connection, a sleeve α provided with a flange is used, through which the end of the lead pipe b is inserted and flanged backwards over the surface of the flange.
