Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
It is known Fuisbodenbelag, absorbed. Linoleum, except from the primarily for that used to make cork from wood pulp. Which, as is known, by · grinding Wood pulp made from wood, a flour-like mass, is mixed with linseed oil or another Type of oil or oil mixture soaked, the mass spread on fabric and then the drying and oxidation of the mass are brought about by placing them in drying rooms exposed to the effects of heat and air, as well as light. It educates little by little in the crowd the so-called. Linoxin; the same thing is completely created, sp the covering is ready for use. The ordinary sanding of the wood now shows the inconvenience, that it is only slightly absorbable, and therefore the oil in itself only to a small extent absorbs, so that the oil is therefore not distributed intimately and finely with the wood pulp mixed, but a non-uniform mixture of wood particles and oil is created, in which the oil must be present in a comparatively large quantity in order to be one to bring about a sufficient connection of the wood particles with one another. As a consequence, because the drying and oxidation of the mass takes a very long time, what the manufacture of the covering is immensely expensive.
With the present invention, a substance has now been found which easily absorbs the oil, and with which the oil therefore quickly mixes in extremely fine distribution, while excess, not soaked up oil in the mass does not stick and is also not necessary to connect the pieces of wood. As a result, dries and the mass oxidizes much more quickly than before, and the production of the covering is thereby made tremendously accelerated and therefore cheaper. As a result of the even, fine distribution The oil in the material makes the covering more elastic than the previous one, which is a very good thing is a valued property of the floor covering. The new fabric consists of one of the Peculiar wood fiber wool produced by wood pulp, which is obtained by that the wood pulp produced only by mechanical grinding of wood increases Blocks are priced and then these blocks are torn up again by ripening machines, whereby a fine-fiber wood fiber wool is created, the nature of which differs from that completely deviates from the wood pulp. During the wood grinding from round, oval, square and similar particles, this wood-fiber wool consists of nothing but small ones Felt-like hairs and fibrils, which when the hand is simply pressed without oil can already be combined into a solid mass, while this is the case with ordinary wood pulp is not the case.
The detailed procedure is as follows:
Gewöhnlicher, lediglich durch mechanische Zerkleinerung von Holz hergestellter Holzstoff (Holzschliff, Holzmehl) wird auf nassem Wege mit der Farbe, welche der Belag haben soll, gefärbt, und alsdann in Blöcke von beliebiger geeigneter Gröfse und Form gepreist, was mit beliebigen geeigneten Prefsvorrich-Ordinary wood pulp produced solely by mechanical shredding of wood (Wood pulp, wood flour) is wet with the color of the surface should, colored, and then priced in blocks of any suitable size and shape, what with any suitable Prefsvorrich-
