The invention relates to a range finder consisting of an objective and a relative to this in the direction of the optical axis of the lens adjustable adjustment disk. Such rangefinder have preferably as a finder rangefinder for photographic and Mnematographic recording cameras found use. Up to now it has been used regularly as an adjustment plate an arrangement of two glass wedges colliding along a separating edge with opposite one another distracting effect. The user had the distance between the lens and the setting plate like this to change for a long time until the contours of the object to be set do not exist above the dividing line showed lateral displacement with respect to the contours below the dividing line. These rangefinders can be used like all cross-sectional rangefinders as long as a contour suitable for setting, that is, there is sufficient sharpness that the dividing line essentially intersects vertically det. In practice, the search for such a contour leads, especially when used in cinematographic recording cameras bothers, leading to an annoying time delay.

Therefore, the mixed image rangefinders free from these disadvantages have been widely used for photographic purposes preferred. The known range finders of this latter type were intended if a special one, independent of the taking lens, usually with a viewfinder connected rangefinder was present. They were for installation in single-lens reflex cameras not suitable.

The invention characterized in the claim for the first time provides a mixed image rangefinder of the type mentioned above, which is particularly suitable for single-lens reflex cameras and is suitable for cinematographic recording cameras working on the same principle.

Die Zeichnung stellt ein Ausführungsbeispiel dar.The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment.
