Description
Electrical Pulse Generator The invention relates to a pulse generator for the delivery of electrical impulses at equal time intervals.
The object of the invention is to create an exactly working, simple and inexpensive encoder for time-constant electrical impulses.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that as a movable Contact member a spiral spring of a watch unrest is used.
The use of moving parts of a clockwork to generate impulses is known. The known devices use the balance armature, the balance shaft and the aging of the balance spring in the watch case as a movable contact member. All of these known contactors have in common that either one Additional component as a contactor, which is not available in normal clockworks serves, or that the contact that works together with an existing movable component, must be resiliently mounted. With contactors that hold the balance spring Use as a movable contact member is due to the resulting mobility the balance spring holder does not affect the accuracy of the rate of the watch to avoid In the subject matter of the invention, the disadvantages and the mentioned additional construction costs avoided. When using the balance spring as bewe` "liclies contact member were obviously concerns of the professional world to be overcome, but it has been shown that the spring cannot burn out due to contact sparks entry. One turn of the spiral spring can advantageously also actuate several contacts.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention shown.
F i g. 1 zeigt den Impulsgeber mit geschlossenen Kontakten; F i g. 2 zeigt den Impulsgeber mit geöffneten Kontakten.F i g. 1 shows the pulse generator with contacts closed; F i g. 2 shows the pulse generator with open contacts.
On the shaft 1 iyt a spiral spring 2 is attached, the outer end 3 of which is firmly clamped in the housing of the pulse generator, not shown. A line 4 leads from the end 3 to the power source 5 and further via a consumer 6, which can be, for example, a glow plug or a counter, to the resilient l # 'ontalct holder 7, which carries the contact 8. The contact age 7 is with the help of an insulating plate. 9 # in the housing of the pulse generator. The rotating mass 1 () is also attached to the shaft 1. The spiral spring 2, like the contact 8, can be provided with a suitable noble metal coating at a contact point. The rotating mass 10 is set in an oscillating motion by any drive, not shown, which can be designed, for example, like the drive of a clock unrest, wherein the spiral spring 2 relaxes once (FIG. 1) and touches the contact 8 and at the counter-movement is tensioned (Fig. 2), whereby the circuit is interrupted. By choosing the radius of gyration e of the rotating mass 10, the number of contact pulses per unit of time and by changing the contact distance, ie by changing the path that the resilient contact holder 7 travels after the contact 8 hits the spiral spring 2, the ratio between the pulse - and set the pulse pause duration.
The in F i g. The arrangement shown in 1 and 2 can be designed in such a way that that several turns of the spiral spring 2 actuate several contacts 8. The order can also be made so that one turn of the spiral spring 2 several contacts 8 actuated.
