M 120066 KLASSE 52 a. M 120066 CLASS 52 a.
The present invention relates to a new way of making fringed buttonholes in fabrics made from warp and warp thread. Most garments made from such fabrics or the like. The buttonhole slot is parallel or perpendicular to the chain thread; as now known is the border of the buttonhole at one end of the punched into the fabric or incised slit and continued around this to the end. Here the inconvenience occurs that at the beginning of the hemming, the chain or two lying parallel to the slot. Weft thread on one side of the slot through the needle or the one held in the eye of the needle Sewing thread pushed to the other side of the slot and into the hem on this side to be sewn in. On the other hand, these chains resp. Thread, and there are only the ends of the associated Schufs- or. Chain threads, so that the ■ The hem thread does not find a proper hold on this side, which is also important here becomes thinner than on the other side.
The present innovation, the one in the accompanying drawing, serves to remedy this situation is shown in Fig. 4 to 6, while Fig. 7 and 8 the tool required for this illustrated in side and bottom view and in Fig. 1 to 3 the manufacture of Buttonhole edging is to be shown as it has been since then. The innovation consists in the Essentially, there is a small angled slit at the rear end of the buttonhole slit is attached, the hemming of the right-hand slot half without pulling over the chain or weft thread from the left-hand half 'permitted.
If, for example, in FIGS. 1 to 6, the warp threads are denoted by a, the warp threads with b and the buttonhole slit with c , then, in order to line the slit, the slit edges ■ in the in FIG. 5 shown way pulled apart. As is known, the hemming is started at the narrow end of the slot and it is often not possible, especially in the case of very thin fabrics, to prevent the parallel threads a 1 of the sewing needle and sewing thread, which are located to the left of the slot, from the sewing needle and sewing thread in the manner shown in FIG pushed to the right and hemmed into the right half of the slit. Only the loose ends b 1 of the weft thread b then protrude on the left half of the slot, and the fringing there no longer finds a proper hold on the fabric.
Diese Fäden bleiben mit ihren Schufsfaden verbunden, so dafs auch die linksseitige Einsäumung des Schlitzes einen festen Halt am.Gewebe hat, wobei am Ende der Ein-Instead of the slit c in a straight line as shown in Fig. To make i, is cut down even a small angle slot c 1 a, in such a way, that the bottom left under this W T can be started inkelschlitz the hemming the right slot side without DAF there the cut warp threads a l lying next to the slit are shifted to the right. These threads remain connected to their threads, so that the left-hand fringing of the slit also has a firm hold on the fabric.
The seam thickness becomes with this type of seaming one that is uniform everywhere.
May be, for punching or cutting of the slot angle c with c 1 buttonhole slot provided an η in Fig. 8 and d illustrated knife, the cutting edge E is provided below f with an angular cutting edge, may be used.
