Description
Machine for the production of compressed and shaped upholstery nonwovens Die Invention relates to a machine for making compacted and shaped Upholstery fleece made of supplied fiber material by means of a blower to which the fiber material is fed, and with a line going out from the fan end that is used for molding the loose fiber material is a trough with upstanding side walls to form an upholstery fleece and a height-adjustable cover with several openings above it connected.
This known machine works with a perforated conveyor belt. However, it has difficulty in achieving proper control the density and uniformity of the fiber body produced on the machine. Some This is because types of fibers tend to clump together more easily than others Fibers have the property of being loosely connected and large in size To form unevenness. As it is often impossible to find exactly the right properties examine the fibers being processed and fed into the machine, the quality of the upholstery produced on the machine changes in an unfavorable way Way.
The invention is based on the knowledge that when fibers on a perforated, continuously vibrating, troughed body blown the tightness of the fibers in the upholstery fleece produced in this way is more uniform fails. It can be assumed that the oscillating movement enables the fibers on the one hand to lay tightly against each other and, on the other hand, make it easier for the air to to flow out between the fibers, so that as a result a cushioning fleece of considerable Compaction arises. The oscillating movement in the horizontal plane also supports the removal of dust or foreign bodies and at the same time supports the removal of the cushion fleece at the dispensing end of a machine.
The invention consists in the machine of the type mentioned at the beginning in that the trough is designed as a vibrating trough, its in horizontal Oscillating movement lying flat through an eccentric or the like. Receives.
In addition, the invention can be practically implemented in a modest way, what happens according to a preferred embodiment of the invention so that over the openings the height-adjustable lid of the vibrating bowl via a line to the inlet the fan connected suction box is arranged.
This embodiment of the subject matter of the invention has the advantage that dust can be removed and the air coming from the cushion fleece in the hollow is more easily relaxed.
The advantages that can be achieved by the invention are above all: that with the simplest handling of the machine and relatively uncomplicated construction of the same an upholstery fleece of considerable density and of great uniformity in it deposited fibers can be produced. It is easily possible the fibers are covered with a cover before they are incorporated into the upholstery fleece to be produced to be provided, for example from a color, a size or a chemical Composition can exist.
For a better understanding, the invention is intended in the following on the basis of a Embodiment will be explained in more detail in the figures of the drawings is shown, it shows F i g. 1 is a partially sectioned side view an embodiment of the machine according to the invention and FIG. 2 is a front view of the subject of FIG. 1 with the omission of some parts.
According to the drawings, the machine has a frame 10 that a fan 11 at one end and a vibrating trough 12 at the other end. From the Discharge end of the fan, which is driven by an electric motor, not shown leads to a narrowing conduit, which is flattening or even May have cross-section to the inlet of the trough 12. The line is adjustable with an Cover 14 is provided, which regulates and aligns the blow stream coming from the fan 11. In the line is optionally a spray can 15 or. Like. For feeding a treatment agent into the blow stream.
The trough 12 has upstanding side walls and is mounted on a swingable linkage 16 so that it can be set in slight oscillating movements by means of an eccentric 17 driven by an electric motor 18 and thus the material advances on it. The drive of the eccentric 17 can be arranged at the inlet end of the trough 12, as shown in the drawing, but also at the outlet end or in between. The trough is equipped with an inner cover 19 which can be adjusted to different heights in the trough. The trough releases the formed fiber fleece onto an endless plate conveyor or other device. In operation, the textile or other fibers, for example coconut fibers, horsehair, pig bristles, flax, wool, cotton, jute, sisal or other fibers or glass fibers in the loose state are fed to the inlet end of the fan via a suitable funnel 20 so that they are in the Blow current carried, emerge from the outlet end 21 of the fan and get into the line 13 leading to the oscillating trough 12. The feed to hopper 20 is suitably regulated, for example by a normal automatic feeder, so that there is an even and constant flow to the fan inlet through conduit 22. In the line 13, the fibers can be exposed to the action of a treatment agent which is supplied through the nozzle 15. This treatment agent can be a liquid or another binding agent for the fibers, for example synthetic resin or rubber latex, but also oil, a dye or another chemical substance. Under the effect of the blow stream and the spray, this agent hits the fibers while they are still in flight. The fibers are fed into the vibrating trough 12 under the cover 19 by the blown stream. At a suitable distance along the trough, a baffle plate, not shown, can be used, for example across the outlet end of the trough, so that a barrier is created on which the treated fibers impinge in such quantities that the force of the blower flow is balanced. The baffle plate is then removed, the oscillating movement of the oscillating trough 12 being maintained constant. The result is a continuous and compacted fiber fleece, which is guided forward in the trough and delivered onto an endless plate conveyor or the like. It can then be divided into suitable lengths or cushions, for example for the production of mattresses or cushions. If necessary, a machine can also be fed to another or further processing, for example into an upholstery cord. Successive cushions can optionally be produced alternately by intermittently adding fibers or the like to the fan 1 and successively inserting the baffle plate into the oscillating trough 12. The thickness of the pad or pads can be changed by adjusting the lid 14 and the height of the lid 19 in the trough. The cover is expediently vented, ie it expediently has one or more openings in front of the point at which the pad or cushion is formed in order to allow the air pressure to be released, which continuously produces the padding fleece in the trough.
The invention is not limited to the embodiment described in detail above but a number of modifications are possible without the framework to leave the invention. For example, one can use other ways of application of the treatment agent on the fibers. For example, it can be the fan can be supplied so that it is incorporated into the blowing stream, or spray devices can be used for this means arrange over the first part of the oscillating trough, like the Nozzle 23 in FIG. 1 shows. You can also use a combination of the above Bring funds to use.
According to another embodiment, a suction box 24 (FIG. 1) over the first part of the oscillating trough 12 or over the previously mentioned one Opening in the bowl cover 19 can be provided to remove dust and the from Upholstery fleece in the hollow to relax incoming air more easily. When the machine has an overall cover 25 (Fig. 1) for the trough, the lid is underneath of the suction box 24, as can be seen, for example, on the broken part of this box, provided with breakthroughs. The suction in the box 24 is thereby expedient made that it can be via a line 26 and preferably via a dust or connects fiber severing device 27 to the inlet of fan 11.
