Description

  • Verwendung von 7,8-Benzochinolin zur Trennung von Gemischen isomerer Xylole Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine neuartige verbesserte Möglichkeit, Gemische isomerer Xylole und insbesondere ein m-p-Xylolgemisch im Rahmen an sich bekannter Trennverfahren in ihre Komponenten zu zerlegen.
  • Gegenstand der Erfindung ist demgemäß die Verwendung von 7,8-Benzochinolin als Extraktionsmittel in an sich bekannten Verfahren der extraktiven Destillation und der Gaschromatographie zur Trennung von Gemischen isomerer Xylole.
  • In der einen Ausführungsform der Erfindung wird demnach das Xylolgemisch der extraktiven Destillation unter Verwendung des angegebenen Extraktionsmittels unterworfen.
  • In einer weiteren Ausführungsform wird das zu trennende Gemisch durch Gaschromatographie getrennt, wobei als Extraktionsmittel das genannte 7,8-Benzochinolin eingesetzt wird.
  • Grundlage der Erfindung ist die Feststellung, daß m-Xylol bevorzugt von dem genannten Extraktionsmittel festgehalten wird.

  1. Patentanspruch: Verwendung von 7,8-Benzochinolin als Extraktionsmittel in an sich bekannten Verfahren der extraktiven Destillation und der Gaschromato- graphie zur Trennung von Gemischen isomerer Xylole. ~~~~~~~~ In Betracht gezogene Druckschriften: Französische Patentschrift Nr. 1 138 856.
