Dieser Üebelstand drückt demnach die Ausbeute an erstklassigem Montanwachs herab, und der Schmelzpunkt des so erhaltenen Wachses ist demgemäfs um ein Erhebliches niedriger, als dies bei Gegenwart einer reichlicheren Menge von Montansäure der Fall wäre.The main value of the product obtained lies in the content of the high-melting point Montanic acid.
