Description
The invention relates to a tail fin for projectiles and missiles, which has a fixed Fin part and a fold-out flap, which folds into a position under the action of a spring, in which it forms the extension of the fixed fin part and is locked by a spring-actuated bolt between a position in which it allows the flap to be folded out and the locking one Position is arranged axially displaceable. Such fins are used when a projectile or a rocket is to be fired from a tube with the smallest possible dimensions.
In a known device for pivoting and locking a fold-out tail fin the spring-actuated locking bolt is released from its spring during the entire folding process pressed against the fixed fin part until it is in a The hole clicks into place. So that the friction that requires energy from the hinged spring does not become too great only the use of a relatively weak spring is possible. In addition, the locking bolt is stored with its spring in the moving flap part itself, where it increases the weight of the flap. Also from For this reason, the spring must be kept quite small, since its mass must be accelerated.
With regard to the stability of the projectile or the missile in the flight path, however, it is necessary that the flap assumes the position in which it is the extension as quickly as possible after shooting out of the fixed fin part and that it is locked in said position. As a result it is desirable that the spring actuating the flap be as large as possible and the locking arrangement is effective. For reasons of space and weight, however, the size of the spring must be severely limited, which is why it is necessary that the locking arrangement immediately locks the flap in place with great reliability when the Position reached in the extension of the fixed fin part. When the locking assembly is off If the flap is not locked for any reason, the same can occur under the influence of the side pressure of the air be moved away from the desired position. The spring cannot be dimensioned as strong, that it definitely returns the flap to the position mentioned.
Das Leitwerkflosse für Geschosse und RaketenThe invention avoids the disadvantages of the known device and creates a tail fin which the flap is locked immediately with great security when it occupies the position in which it is Forms extension of the fixed fin part. The tail fin for projectiles and missiles

wird dadurch erreicht, daß der Bolzen in dem festen Flossenteil angeordnet ist und ein Sperrorgan vorgesehen ist, das ihn in der genannten ersten Stellung festhält und wobei ein unterer Ansatz an der beweglichen Klappe dazu bestimmt ist, das Sperrorgan auszulösen, kurz bevor oder wenn die Klappe die Stellung erreicht hat, in der sie die Verlängerung des festen Flossenteiles bildet.is achieved in that the bolt is arranged in the fixed fin part and a locking member is provided is that holds it in said first position and with a lower attachment on the movable The flap is intended to trigger the blocking element shortly before or when the flap has the position has reached, in which it forms the extension of the fixed fin part.
Es zeigtIn the drawings, an embodiment of the invention is shown. It shows
Fig. 1 eine Flosse in teilweise geschnittener perspektivischer Darstellung,1 shows a fin in a partially sectioned perspective illustration,
Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht von Teilen der Flosse mit hereingeklappter Klappe und2 shows a side view of parts of the fin with the flap folded in and
Fig. 3 is a side view of the same parts in the folded-out position of the flap.
In the drawing, 1 denotes the fixed part of the fin and 2 denotes a fold-out part which is supported in the same Flap. A torsion spring 3 tends to fold the flap 2 into the one shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 Panning position. In the example shown, the flap 2 is made of plastic. It contains a cast light metal part 4 which forms the bearing 5 for the flap. Part 4 is provided with a lower approach 6 and an upper approach 7.
In the fixed fin part 1, a bolt 8 is arranged displaceably under the action of a helical spring 9. When the flap 2 is in its folded position, as shown in Fig. 2,

In der in Fig. 2 gezeigten Lage gestattet der Bolzen 8, daß sich die Klappe 2 bis zu der in Fig. 1 und 3 gezeigten Lage frei schwenkt.the bolt 8 is held by a lock 10 in the position shown, which is in a transverse Bore in the bolt 8 is displaceable. The lock 10 is of a wire spring 11, which is in an axial Bore is arranged in the bolt 8, held in the position shown. Allowed in the position shown in FIG the bolt 8 that the flap 2 pivots freely up to the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 3.
When the flap 2 after firing the projectile is folded out under the action of the torsion spring 3, the approach 6 moves the Lock 10 in Fig. 3 to the left, whereby the bolt 8 is pushed up by the spring 9 and with a inclined contact surface prevents the flap 2 from pivoting back into the folded position. The xs Spring 9 can be made relatively strong because it prevents the flap from moving in the direction of the in Fig. 1 and 3 position shown not prevented. The flap 2 is from the stop 12 on the fixed fin part 1 and a lug 13 on part 4 prevented from rotating further away from the folded-in position.
