Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Selbstverkäufer, in welchem die Waaren lose in einer Reihe von Behältern enthalten sind, von welchen aus einem oder mehreren eine bestimmte Menge nach Einwurf einer Münze entnommen werden kann. Der Selbstverkäufer enthält vier Trommeln a, die neben einander sitzen und von einer starken hohlen, in einem Gehäuse c waagrecht befestigten Achse b getragen werden, wobei das Gehäuse die Achse an ihren Enden umfafst. Jede von den Trommeln α besteht aus einem Paar schalenförmiger Metall blechringe d, welche an ihren äufseren Rändern mit einander und mit einem Kreisring e zusammengenietet sind. Letzterer hat Zähne/ an seinem äufseren Umfange, während der innere Umfang desselben mit Zellen oder Schaufeln g versehen ist, die geeignet sind, die Waaren, mit welchen die Trommeln α gefüllt sind, nach den Entleerungstrichtern h zu überführen (Fig. 3). Die Waaren werden durch Oeffnungen i eingebracht, welche mit luftdichten, aus Metall geprefsten Deckeln oder Thüren / versehen sind. Die Verbindungen zwischen der hohlen Achse b und den Trommeln α sind mittelst Filz oder anderen Packringen m luftdicht gemacht, welche, wie gezeichnet, zwischen den an einander liegenden Seiten von je zwei Trommeln angeordnet sind bezw· zwischen jeder von den zwei äufsersten Trommeln und den anliegenden Theilen des Gehäuses c. Diese Packringe können mit einem passenden Schmiermittel getränkt sein. Die Trommeln sind so angeordnet, dafs jede unabhängig durch einen von einem Geldstück ausgelösten Mechanismus angetrieben werden kann. In die Zähne f an der Peripherie von jedem der vier Ringe e greift ein Zahnrad k ein (Fig. 1 und 3). Diese Zahnräder sitzen lose auf einer gemeinsamen Welle ο und sind mit ausrückbaren Zahnkupplungen ρ q versehen. Diese sind auf der Welle 0 so befestigt, dafs sie mit derselben sich drehen können (Fig. 4).
