The invention relates to a button sewing machine with endless belt drive for the stitch forming tools and the button holding clamp. That Essence of the invention is seen in the fact that the arranged between a first and second guide roller Drive wheel for the button holding clamp with both strands of the endless drive belt in drive engagement stands. This arrangement ensures that the synchronization of the tools in exact way is guaranteed and the machine dimensions to a desirable minimum can be held. The button clamp is swung out by the one with both dreams in drive engagement with the drive wheel via an eccentric and corresponding transmission lever in on in a known manner, the return stroke of the button holding clamp taking place in a non-positive manner.

In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown, for example.

The illustration shows the button sewing machine in a side view.

So the needle bar 2 with the needle 3 Moved up and down from the upper shaft via a crank mechanism, through the latter via the drive wheel 4 a belt strap S and the lower shaft 6 for the stitch-forming tools are driven. The drive the upper shaft 4 takes place via a worm 8 arranged on the shaft of the motor 7, which is connected to the Worm gear 9 meshes. The belt strap 5 is with its two strands in drive engagement with the Intermediate radio, which in turn in a known manner via an eccentric and corresponding levers 11, 12, 13 causes the horizontal swinging movements of the button holding clamp 14, 14 a, which by the Button sewing machine
