Description
Processes for producing flexible bead frames are already known in large numbers. In general it is customary to make the bead out of un-grained material and then with a thin grained one To glue over layer. There are also already known methods in which the bead itself has a grained top. In this case, a frame strip is cut, for example, that the part forming the bead of approximately square cross-section on both sides with wing-like Approaches is provided that are either on both sides in one plane and are grained, or that are offset from one another so that the outside of one wing is in the scar surface, that of the other in the surface of the flesh side of the leather will fall. In these known methods, however, a proportionate large numbers of leather cuts must be accepted. For example, a of the known methods, the leather strips provided for bead frames are at least 4 to 6 mm wider are cut than the frames made from it then actually are, with the overshooting Width is required to form the bead and its covering, while on the flesh side a correspondingly wide strip falls off. In another known method, falls as the wing-like extensions are formed a strip of leather from both sides of the middle part used to form the bead, namely up on one side from the grained part, on the other from the flesh-side. In addition, all of these show The method has the disadvantage that the side of the bead to be glued to the upper leather is also grained is what means an additional loss of valuable leather width.
B. nach oben und unten, angeordnet sind und jeweils der die Narbenseite des Mittelteiles Verfahren zur HerstellungThe invention now has the task of avoiding these disadvantages and of creating a method by that a substantial material saving corresponding to the increased leather prices is achieved. To this The purpose is to use the leather frame strips intended for further processing into flexible bead frames, consisting of a cross-section roughly square central part, which is attached to two opposing surfaces each has a wing-like flat strip, these wings each with their Outer surface in one plane with the upward pointing scar or the downward pointing Flesh side of the middle part are made in that the individual frame strips from one Leather plate of uniform thickness cut so that the two wings are in the same plane, but offset against each other, e.g. B. up and down arranged are and each of the grain side of the central part of the manufacturing process

fortsetzende Flügel von dem die Fleischseite des Mittelteiles fortsetzenden Flügel des nächstfolgend herauszuschneidenden Rahmenstreifens abgespaltet wird, so daß Rahmenstreifen gewonnen werden, die alsdann in geeigneter Weise durch Falten, Formen oder ein ähnliches Weiterverarbeitungsverfahren zu Flexibel-Wulstrahmen verarbeitet werden können.continuing wing from the wing continuing the flesh side of the middle part of the next wing to be cut out Frame strip is split off, so that frame strips are obtained, which then in a suitable manner by folding, shaping or a similar processing method into flexible bead frames can be processed.
In a further development of the invention, during the splitting process, at the same time along the side surface of the central part, which faces the wing that continues the flesh side, a wing that extends almost to the flesh side, the side surface of the central part continued crack introduced. This crack causes the folding of the frame strip along the weak leather strip that has remained underneath this crack.
Es zeigtFor a better understanding, the method according to the invention is explained with reference to the drawing, wherein at the same time the particularly favorable completion of the bead frame from the frame strips obtained in this way is shown. It shows

Auf diese Weise entsteht beim Herstellen der Rahmenstreifen überhaupt kein Verschnitt.a central part 2 of approximately square cross-section, which is grained on the top and its Bottom is formed by the meat side. On both sides of this middle part 2 each include wing-like strips, of which one wing 3 is the grain side, the other wing 4 is the flesh side of the middle part 2 continues. The respective inner surfaces of the two wings 3, 4 lie in one plane. Of the When cutting, strip 3 is lifted from plate 1 in such a way that its inside is straight when lifted off exposes the inside of the strip 4 'of the following frame strip. This is how it arises when manufacturing the frame strips no waste at all.
Mit Rücksicht auf die angestrebte endgültige Formgebung ist es im allgemeinen empfehlenswert, dem die Narbenseite des Mittelteiles 2 fortsetzenden Flügel 3 eine wesentlich geringere Dicke zu geben, als dem gewissermaßen den Grundstreifen bildenden Flügel 4.Along the side surface of the middle part 2 facing the wing 4 is one to almost the meat side continuous crack 5 introduced, which continues this side surface and the wing 4 only by one Strips of small thickness can be related to the central part 2. This tear enables the frame strip - In contrast to the previously known method - in the one shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 Way to fold so that the frame, after being glued and pressed, is its final Form (Fig. 4) has received no grain on the side that is glued to the upper leather, since this from the side of the middle part 2 originally facing the wing 4, as well as through the Crack 5 generated continuation and the corresponding end face also created by the crack 5 of the wing 4 folded over when folding under the middle part and the wing 3 is formed. When gluing and pressing the bead frame, for example by means of a correspondingly shaped special roller, the middle part 2 is used to form the bead in the manner shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, during the Wing 3 so on the side of the middle part 2 pointing towards it and on the meat side of the folded over Wing 4 is glued so that its grain side shows outwards. In this way, any shaped Bead can be generated. It has proven to be advantageous if the two wings 3, 4 if necessary obtained different thickness, of course the sum of both thicknesses of the total thickness corresponds to the leather plate 1 from which the frame strips are cut. With consideration on the desired final shape, it is generally recommended that the grain side of the To give the middle part 2 continuing wing 3 a much smaller thickness than to a certain extent the Wing forming the base strip 4.
With an appropriate design of the cutting tool, all splitting processes as well as the introduction of the crack5 in a single operation be performed.
