Description
Luminous glasses The invention relates to luminous glasses in which above of each spectacle lens a recess is attached in the spectacle frame, which as a housing for a rod light bulb with connections arranged in the frame at both ends serves.
Luminous glasses are already known in which the incandescent lamps in a screw mount, the axis of which is perpendicular or oblique to the plane of the glasses is. The light bulbs or the associated optical system jump in front of the glasses frame before. The manufacturing cost of such glasses is high and they do not offer any beautiful sight. In addition, the weight is unevenly distributed, and the folded Glasses do not fit in a normal case. As a result, such glasses are indeed for Special work, e.g. B. for watchmakers, suitable; however, cannot be used generally will. In order to remedy this deficiency, there is another known type of luminous glasses Above each lens there is a recess in the lens frame, which is used as a Housing for a rod light bulb with connections attached to both ends in the frame is used so that the bulb is completely in the frame. The connection is made here by also completely embedded in the plastic of the glasses frame Contact springs. However, these well-known luminous glasses have the disadvantage: that the lamp must be inserted from the front and can therefore occasionally fall out because it only because of the limited space available: by the rather weak ones Contact springs held wiid.
In addition, the light rays are because of the wide and high window to. widely scattered, so that undesirable dazzling effects occur. Can do that too an otherwise protruding and annoying anti-glare screen above the opening -not. to remedy enough. Finally there are the contact springs with the connections Visible from the front, which gives the glasses an unattractive appearance.
The aim of the invention is to provide luminous glasses that are free from these deficiencies with a filament lamp completely housed in the glasses frame a secure mounting of the light bulb is created, a falling out of the lamp forward is avoided, unwanted glare eliminated and the lamp connections and supply lines are invisible.
The luminous glasses according to the invention are characterized in that in the case of the recess which is open at the front and rear in a manner known per se, the front one Opening forms a window of smaller dimensions than the lamp size, while the rear opening of the recess is used to insert and connect the incandescent rod lamp Allowing width and through an opaque cover to the rear is completed.
For the particularly expedient realization of the inventive concept individual additional measures can be used, but only in Connection with the main idea of the invention identified above protection is claimed.
So is. preferably equip the incandescent lamp with socket pins, which can be fastened to the connections of the supply lines with screws. That front window is so short; that the connections and the brackets are covered. Since the front window is shorter than the lamp, it cannot fall out. After inserting the lamp, the rear opening is covered by an opaque one Cover closed, the z. B. in vertical grooves of the rear frame part is retractable.
The front window is not only used to prevent the lamp from falling out to protect, but also results in a limitation of the light cone. Preferably is the vertical plane passing through the center of each window opposite that through the center of the corresponding spectacle lens going in the direction of the plane of symmetry offset of the glasses so that the light cones are convergent.
Finally, a reflector can be provided which z. B. off a thin foil of a polished or shiny metal, which is between the lid and the lamp are jammed. Such a reflector increases the intensity of the amount of light emitted and prevents passage of the light through the more or less translucent material of the glasses frame.
The invention is shown in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment illustrated. 1 shows a front view of the spectacle frame according to the invention for the left spectacle lens, Fig. 2 the back of the frame for the right spectacle lens, FIG. 3 shows a section through the socket along the line III-111 in FIG. 1.
The spectacle frame shown in the drawing a has above Each glass has a recess g, which is used to accommodate the incandescent lamp d. This is connected with its terminals to connections e, to which the lamp is screwed tight is. The connections e are connected to the lead wires c, which are in the frame are let in. The recess g is after the insertion of the lamp from behind closed by a lid o which can be held in any position, preferably by friction, by pushing it with some force into the vertical grooves of the rear Frame part is used. This arrangement gives complete security for the lamp, because the cover o, which is supported against the zygomatic arch, is not of can open itself. At the same time, the lamp can be replaced quickly and easily.
The recess g opens forward into a window f, which is either rectangular or has some other suitable shape. This front window f is shorter than the lamp so that it cannot fall out and at the same time its ends and the connections are covered. The window f is provided with screens v1 and v2 at the top and bottom, which guide the light cone, the lower screen v2 at the same time protecting the eye from any direct glare from the lamp. It is advantageous if the vertical center plane IV-IV of each window f is shifted by a small distance m towards the plane of symmetry of the glasses compared to the center plane III-III of the corresponding spectacle lens, so that the light cone coming from the right and left lamp is in a central one Distance from the eyes meet on the viewed object and intensify the illumination of the field of view.
The lead wires c are preferably in the frame a near the rear countersunk so that they are separated from the front by a sufficient thickness and remain invisible from the front. These inner wires c are preferably over in the temples of the glasses embedded wires and other thin outer wires with a Connected battery that is carried by the user. Finally there is a reflector r provided, the z. B. can consist of a U-shaped bent metal foil, to surround the lamp from behind and from above and below, and about the length serving as the housing recess g has. The metal foil is thereby in the housing noted that their ends on the side walls of the window f and on the rear Cover o.
