Die Erfindung besteht im wesentlichen in der Anordnung zweier Frictionsringe, die unterhalb des Kronrades an der Stelle angebracht werden, welche der Müller täglich unter Aufsicht hat, weil er dahin gehen mufs, um den Zapfen der stehenden Welle zu schmieren, und wird hierdurch eine stetige Controle der Anlage ermöglicht. Von den beiden Frictionsringen ist A ein feststehender hohler Ring aus Kupfer, welcher auf vier Stützen unterhalb des Kronrades ruht. Derselbe besteht aus zwei Theilen, welche ohne Verlöthung durch Schrauben mit einander verbunden werden; derselbe ist mit einer Hülse versehen, welche zur Aufnahme des Leitungsdrahtes nach unten dient. Der zweite Ring B besteht ebenfalls aus zwei Theilen, die mit einander verschraubt werden, und ist mit einer Hülse zur Aufnahme des Leitungsdrahtes nach oben versehen. Dieser Ring ist concentrisch zu A, hat einen halbkreisförmigen Querschnitt, und bewegt sich je nach Drehung der Kappe mit dieser.
