Description
Device for precipitating rock dust in a borehole on a rock drill. The invention relates to a device for precipitating rock dust in a borehole on a rock drill. The device is primarily intended to drill dry at the bottom of the borehole and to bind the drilling dust that is produced in the process, blown away by a stream of compressed air, in a manner known per se by means of a water veil. It is particularly suitable for driving mining routes or tunnels with the help of a so-called »pilot hole«. Since the cutting depth is limited by the penetration depth, which in the case of the usual conical or wedge penetrations is generally not greater than 0.6 ' s cross-section, it has already been proposed to first drill a pilot hole of about 150 to 200 mm in diameter according to the brittleness or plasticity to drill the rock into which the break-in is shot through blast holes drilled parallel to it. In this way, the cutting depth can be increased considerably beyond the limit mentioned above.
Since the methods previously used to make holes with larger diameter were based on experiences from different task areas and were carried out with appropriately designed machines and drills, remained the performance of pre-borehole jacking fell short of expectations.
It has already been proposed, instead of the known, the borehole mouth shielding water veil in a smooth high-pressure water jet from the outside straightening the borehole with the intention of keeping the dry drilling dust inside knock down the borehole. In addition to high water consumption and the difficulty the direction of the beam during drilling despite the vibrations that occur To keep constant, this method still has the disadvantage that the water pressure with must be readjusted with increasing drilling depth. Despite this regulation exists there is always the risk that the jet will penetrate to the bottom of the borehole and at the same time causes undesirable wet drilling.
Based on an earlier proposal to provide blow nozzles in a hollow drill for vertical boreholes, which are directed obliquely upwards towards the borehole opening, with the aid of which the drilling dust should be blown out of the borehole, the invention proposes to eliminate the difficulties explained at the beginning by, besides the hollow bore in the drill rod for the particular for blowing out the compressed air drilling dust in radial gap was from a hollow drill is provided against this sealed perforated over pipe communicating with a water supply pipe in connection.
With the help of this device, the water curtain can be applied in the borehole itself be generated. In practice, one goes before the operation of the device that from Drilling is drilled wet until the water veil becomes effective, according to the invention during this drilling section with the hollow bore instead of with a compressed air line such is associated with water.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to the drawing.
1 shows the overall arrangement of a drilling device with a rotary hammer drill that appears particularly suitable for these purposes. The length of the drill rod 1 with the drill bit 2 corresponds to the desired length of the pilot hole. The drill rod and drill bit are dimensioned so that they can transmit multiple or ten to twelve times the impact force of a normal hammer drill for blast holes. The hammer drill 4, which can be designed as a two-cylinder machine to increase performance, is equipped with a rotating mechanism 5 for moving the drill. The drill rod 1 is enclosed by a cylindrical over tube 7 which is sealed against its circumference and has radial bores 6.
Fig. 1) ausströmender Wasserschleier in bekannter Weise den Bohrlochmund ab.From Fig. 2, the operation of the device according to the invention can be seen. At the start of drilling, i. H. When drilling, water first flows, controlled by a switching valve (not shown), through the hollow boring bar center 1 ' and from there to the cutting edges 2 ", where it precipitates the drilling dust in the usual way and washes away. This work is continued until until the end of the pipe 7 on the drill bit side with its radial bores 6 joins in the area of the borehole being created Walls of the borehole, while the previous path of the water through the hollow drill rod center I 'to the cutting edges 2 "is used by a Preßlunstrom, the dry dust arising at the bottom of the borehole through recesses 2 ... in the drill bit 2 in the area of the spray curtain blows out of the holes6. At the same time, a veil of water flowing out of nozzles S- (see FIG. 1) shields the borehole mouth in a known manner.
