Abstract

256,474. Paterson, D. J. Jan. 19, 1926. Percussive tools.-Cleaning water is supplied to a chamber 10 at the front end and passes thence through a flexible union 13 to a tubular sheath 8 which is a loose fit over the shank and inside the bore hole. Water is thus directed to the point inside the sheath and returns outside it, the drill shank being solid, and of any non- circular section. A pad of felt or the like 19 prevents leakage.
