Verfahren zur Herstellung von farb- und tonwertberichtigten Farbauszügen
Gegenstand der Hauptpatentanmeldung A 31464 IV a/57 d ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung
von Farbauszügen mit verbesserter Farbwiedergabe unter Verwendung je einer Farbmaske,
bei welchem die für die Herstellung der Korrekturmasken verwendeten Farbauszugsfilter
für jede Maske eine zweifache Korrekturwirkung ausüben und wobei das zur Steuerung
des Korrekturmaßes erforderliche Gradationsverhältnis durch die Lage der Durchlässigkeitsmaxima

Kopie dieser Kombination erhält man ein farbkorrigiertes und in den Lichtern zusätzlich
aufgestelltes Positiv. Verwendet man nun solche hinter Filtern hergestellte Lichtermasken,
so muß eine Montage der drei Lichternegative auf die Farbauszugsnegative durchgeführt
werden, was eine Reihe hinlänglich bekannter Schwierigkeiten, beispielsweise Paßschwierigkeiten,
mit sich bringt. Verwendet man dagegen ein ohne Filter hergestelltes Lichternegativ,
so treten unter Umständen Farbverfälschungen in den hellen Mitteltönen auf. Der
Einbau einer ohne Filter hergestellten Lichtermaske in die Farbmasken ist nicht
ohne weiteres möglich, da die Farbmasken einen verschiedenen Tonumfang aufweisen,

daß man demgemäß färb- und tonwertberichtigte Farbauszüge dann erhält, wenn zuerst
ein Lichternegativ vom Original unter Benutzung des in der Hauptpatentanmeldung
beschriebenen Korrekturfilters für den Gelbauszug hergestellt und dieses Lichternegativ
dann bei der Belichtung der Farbmasken für alle drei Teilbilder als Maske benutzt
wird. Eine so hergestellte Lichtermaske ist in den Farben derart abgestuft, daß
sie in den Auszügen mit dem gleichen Tonwertanteil zur Wirkung kommt. Beispiel Vom
Original wird zunächst unter Vorschaltung des Korrekturfilters für den Gelbauszug
ein Lichternegativ hergestellt. Dieses Lichternegativ wird auf das Original aufgepaßt,
und von dieser Kombination werden nunmehr, wie in der Hauptpatentanmeldung beschrieben,
die Farbkorrekturmasken hergestellt. Nach Entfernung der Lichtermaske werden die
Farbauszüge unter Benutzung der Korrekturmasken gezogen. Diese Auszüge sind sowohl
