Verwendbarkeit erläuternde Texte oder Titel angebracht, und zwar in der bisher bekannten
und üblichen Weise durch Prägen mittels Klischees, so ergibt sich bei der Wiedergabe
der unerwünschte Zustand, daß diese Texte oder Titel durch die anamorphotische Optik
ebenfalls in Breitenrichtung stark verzerrt werden, wodurch ihre Lesbarkeit beeinträchtigt
wird. Die einzelnen Buchstaben würden in ihrer Höhe unverändert, in ihrer Breite
aber - gemäß obigem Beispiel - doppelt so breit wie normal erscheinen,, wodurch

so große Nachteile, daß es praktisch nicht durchführbar wäre. Zum Drukken der Vorlagen
könnten keine normalen Lettern verwendet werden, sondern es müßten erst besondere
Lettern hergestellt werden, und zwar für jeden Verzerrungsgrad besondere Sätze.

praktisch nicht durchführbar wäre, leidet es an dem weiteren Mangel, daß das Schriftbild

behoben, daß die zum Prägen der Titel, Texte u. dgl. dienenden Matrizen oder Klischees
durch optisch verzerrte Aufnalunen von normalen Vorlagen gewonnen werden, und die
so gewonnenen Matrizen oder Klischees mit den in Breitenrichtung verzerrten Titeln,
Texten u. dgl. auf den Film übertragen werden, so daß sie bei der entzerrten Wiedergabe
in Normalformat erscheinen. Bei den als Vorlage dienenden Texten, Titeln od. dgl.
werden also völlig normale Buchstaben bzw. Lettern benutzt, wie sie bisher üblich
waren, und diese Vorlagen werden über eine anamorphotische Optik auf die eigentliche
Klischeeplatte übertragen, wobei die Optik so eingestellt wird, daß die Verzerrung
in Breitenrichtung gerade um das gleiche Maß erfolgt, wie es auch für die Aufnahme
der Bilder der Fall war. Es ist also lediglich nötig, vor die Übertragungsoptik
eine Zylinderlinse oder eine gleichwertige anamorphotische Optik zu setzen, damit
die normale Vorlage in verzerrter Form auf die Klischeeplatte übertragen wird. Es
ist einleuchtend, daß die auf solche Weise hergestellten Titel, Texte od. dgl. im
Film bei der Projektion in normalen Abmessungen und gut leserlich erscheinen. Das
erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zeichnet sich also durch große Einfachheit aus und läßt
