Verfahren zur schnellen Fixierung von Dauerwellen des Haares Bei der Herstellung von Dauerwellen wird im allgemeinen das Keratin des Haares mittels Sttlfhydrylgruppen tragenden Verbindungen, wie z. B. Thioglykolsäure, Thioglycerin usw. in alkalischer Lösung bei ganz bestimmten pA Werten erweicht. Bei dieser Keratinerweichung werden im Keratin vorhandene Disulfidbrücken aufgespalten, wodurch die Möglichkeit besteht, dem Haar eine andere Gestalt zu verleihen. Durch die nachfolgende Fixierung wird dieser Aufspaltungsprozeß der Disulfidbrücken unterbrochen und neue Disulfidbrücken unter der Einwirkung des Sauerstoffes aus dem Oxydationsmittel, das als Fixierungsmittel dient, aufgerichtet.
