Holz mittels gasförmiger, auf das- Imprägnieröl polymerisierend wirkender Mittel beschrieben. Durch diese Behandlung wird erreicht, daß die Außenflächen des ölimprägnierten Holzes ihre Klebrigkeit verlieren. Als gasförmiges Mittel ist in der Patentschrift unter anderem Bortrifluorid angegeben. In vielen Fällen ist es wünschenswert, die Vergütung nicht mit gasförmigen Mitteln, sondern mit Flüssigkeiten vorzunehmen. Die Verwendung gasförmiger Mittel macht es in der Regel notwendig, daß man das imprägnierte Holz in einer besonderen Kammer behandelt. Auch hinsichtlich der besseren Dosierung und leichteren Verteilung des polymerisierend wirkenden Mittels ist es vorteilhafter, Flüssigkeiten zu verwenden.Process for the remuneration of wood soaked with impregnating oils In the not pre-published German patent specification 1029553 is a method for tempering impregnated oils.
