An den Schnittflächen solcher Drähte bzw. aus solchen Drähten hergestellter Drahtgeflechte hat jedoch die Luft freien Zutritt zum Kerndraht, so daß die Gefahr besteht, daß von der Schnittkante aus unter dem Kunststoffmantel ein Verrosten des Kerndrahtes einsetzt.
