Beim Köpfen von Rüben, z. B. Runkelrüben, ergeben sich eine Reihe von Schwierigkeiten. Erstrebenswert ist es dabei, von der Rübe nur so viel wegzuschneiden, daß das Kraut mit Sicherheit noch zusammenhalt und nicht in einzelne Blätter zerfällt. Rübenköpfmaschinen können dieser Forderung nicht entsprechen, weil die Rüben bei weitem nicht alle gleich weit aus dem Boden ragen und durchaus nicht immer lotrecht stehen. ____^^ When headed beets, z.
