entspricht, worin x Wasserstoff bzw.
neutral bzw. sauer kuppelt.Process for the preparation of cobalt-containing monoazo dyes It is known to prepare cobalt mixed complex compounds of monoazo dyes, one of which is an o, o'-dioxymonoazo dye which also contains a sulfonic acid amide group and the other is an o-amino-ö -oxymonoazo dye. These mixed complex dyes, as described in US Pat. No. 2,674,515, are mainly used for fast dyeing of animal fibers and polyamide compounds. However, the water solubility thereof is insufficient for many purposes. It is also known that cobalt-containing azo dyes are obtained if cobalt-releasing agents are mixed with mixtures of an o-amino-o'-oxymonoazo dye, for example of the formula and a sulfonic acid and carboxyl-free o, ö -dioxymonoazo dye can act, which has two sulfonic acid amide groups as a water-solubilizing group, z. B. It has now been found that cobalt-containing monoazo dyes which are better in water solubility and better than the last-mentioned dye mixture in terms of hue, acid millfastness and over-dyeing fastness are obtained if cobalt-releasing substances according to the invention are allowed to act on mixtures of equal proportions of two monoazo dyes, one of which has the general formula corresponds, in which x denotes hydrogen or chlorine, the other the general formula where y is chlorine or a nitro group. Compared to the known dye complexes, these mixed cobalt-containing azo dyes according to the invention contain a bisulfonic acid amido group. The dyes of formula I can be obtained, for example, by 1-amino-2-oxy-4-nitrobenzene or 1-amino-2-oxy-4-nitro-5-chlorobenzene with 2-aminonaphthalene or, with the same results reaches, neutral or acidic coupling with 2-aminonaphthalene-l-sulfonic acid.
Man erhält
hauptsächlich blaue Farbstoffe. The dyes according to formula II are, for. B. by coupling diazotized

to obtain. The monoazo dyes are easily filterable and sparingly soluble in
Water. They show better solubility in alkalis. The complex formation with cobalt donating

Man bekommt in guter
The mixed metal complex dyes obtained according to the invention

They are particularly suitable for dyeing animal fibers, polyamides and lacquers.
Already from a neutral liquor, they pull almost completely onto the fibers and
are therefore also ideally suited for half-wool dye settings. The received
