Es empfiehlt sich als Kunststoffmasse besonders die Verwendung von Polyamid-, vorzugsweise jedoch Caprolaktanverbindungen, da solche Ventilteile besonders gegen korrodierende Einflüsse weitgehend unempfindlich sind, auch bei hohen Temperaturen, ohne dabei ihre hohe Festigkeit einzubüßen.
