Description
DEUTSCHESGERMAN
The invention relates to a cutter knife in which the arms carrying the cutting edges have a unilaterally offset position with respect to the radii laid through the axis of the knife shaft, which Cutting edges against the wall of the cutter bowl in a radius cutting, the wall of the cutter bowl pass over the rectified arc and extend into the hub part that encompasses the knife shaft Extend the knife body.
-There are already cutter knives known which consist of two sickle-shaped knife blades with there are unilateral cutting edges, the ends of which face the cutter bowl to one of the bottom of the Cutting edge brushing the cutter bowl are sharpened. Both knife blades or blades are in one Angle of 120 °. to each other, the knife cutout lying in the bisector of this angle. The arc shape of the cutting edges results in a certain cutting edge extension. With more than two Wings can not be carried out, the knife. As a result the selected wing arrangement in connection with the position of the knife cutout, the knife Adjust against the bottom of the cutter bowl on the shaft. -
According to the invention, the cutting edges of a tangent to the hub circle run approximately in the same direction as far as the cutter wall in a * Kütter knife of the type specified above and merge on the wall of the cutter bowl into an angled curved limb with the center of curvature falling into the axis of the knife shaft . This results in a very considerable extension of the cutting edges for all knife blades; because the straight path tangentially to the hub body to the bowl wall plus the angled bow leg is greater than the path of the bow leading from the hub body to the bowl wall and ending there in the bevel of the wing. The extended cutting results in an improved cutting performance of the knife and the consequence that as much as possible the total amount of the material to be cut is subjected to the cutting action and not parts of the knife are pressed through the material to be cut without a cutting effect, with the consequence of undesired heating of the material to be cut. Even with multi-bladed knives, all cutting edges have the same cutting performance due to their same length, which also benefits an improvement in cutting with the knife and even cutting with all cutting edges as well as an even load on the knife shaft. In the known knife, the cutting edges are of different lengths due to the different degrees of curvature of the cutting edge arcs. r .--- -

This apparent disadvantage is caused by the considerably elongated cutting edges and the resulting brought about an increase in cutting performance more than balanced. It should be noted that the Wear of the cutting edges is much less due to their greater length and that as a result a designed according to the invention knife needs to be sharpened less frequently, so that a possible adjustability is of no particular importance, and that even with a three-winged one Execution of the knife the extension of the cutting edges can be made what at the known knives is not possible.
Cutter knife in single-wing design can be trained according to the invention in such a way that A circular cutting edge is attached to the straight cutting edge, approximately in the height area of the axis of the knife shaft connected tangentially with the center of curvature lying in the axis of the cutter shaft. the Round cutting edge is advantageously provided on both sides of the knife shaft. Through the round cutting edge there is a further enlargement of the cutting edges, which has the effect that at a knocking up of the material to be cut, which results in the knives being embedded in the meat, the Material to be cut is still subject to a cutting action in its entirety.

As the drawing shows, the cutter knives have a cutout 1 for attaching to the knife shaft on. The cutting edges 2 which, as seen from the knife shaft, run in a straight line towards the cutter bowl are extended, on the one hand to about the height of the axis of the knife shaft for attaching the knife and, if the cutting edge ends at the cutout 1, up to the cutout and on the other hand through an arcuate leg extension 3, the center of curvature of which falls in the axis of the knife shaft. The straight cutting edges merge approximately in a tangent into the hub circle.
Fig. 1 shows the extension of the straight cutting edges 2 and their arcuate extension 3 with a double-bladed knife, while in Fig. 2 the extension of the cutting edges for a three-bladed cutter knife is shown.
With the cutter knives according to Fig. 1 and 2, the. as Arrangement so that the extension sheets 3 opposing knife blades symmetrically to 4 are perpendicular to the axis 5 of the section 1.
The cutter knife shown in Fig. 3 is single-winged. The straight cutting edge 2 is approximately up to the height the axis of the slip-on shaft extended.
According to FIG. 4, the straight cutting edge 2 merges tangentially into a round cutting edge 8. The round cutting edge is provided on both sides of the cutout 1. Your center of curvature lies in the Axis of the shaft for attaching the knife.
If the knives are readjusted, the centers of curvature of the arcuate lugs and fall the circular cutting edge no longer exactly in the axis of the shaft for attaching the knife.
