Abstract

Lockup clutch (1) comprises a primary wheel (4) and a secondary wheel (5) which define a working chamber. The working chamber has a first input (26) which is connected to the secondary wheel and a second input (27) which is connected to the primary wheel. The inputs are optionally connected to an output (28) of the clutch forming a first power branch (32) an a second power branch (33). The coupling between the input of the clutch coupled with the primary wheel and the output of the clutch in order to create the second power branch is free of any rotationally fixed mechanical connection between the two wheels. The coupling between the inputs of the clutch and the output of the clutch in the individual power branches is provided with speed/torque converter elements. Preferred Features: A free wheel is arranged between the secondary wheel and the input of the clutch.
