Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Abgaskühler (5) für eine Abgasanlage (1) einer Brennkraftmaschine (2) eines Fahrzeuges, insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeuges, dem in einem Abgasstrang einer Abgasanlage (1) ein Katalysator (7), insbesondere ein Stickoxid-Speicherkatalysator, nachgeschaltet ist, wobei der Abgaskühler (5) rohrförmig ausgebildet ist und vom Abgasstrom durchströmt wird. Ein abzukühlender Abgasstrom durchströmt den Abgaskühler zur Abkühlung im Wesentlichen entlang eines Kühleraußenwandbereiches als äußeren Kühlerabgasweg (11), während ein nicht abzukühlender Abgasstrom den Abgaskühler (5) im Wesentlichen entfernt vom Kühleraußenwandbereich entlang eines inneren Kühlerabgasweges (12) durchströmt. Im Abgaskühler (5) ist ein Steuerelement angeordnet, mittels dem der Abgasstrom in Richtung des äußeren oder inneren Kühlerabgasweges (11, 12) leitbar ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist das Steuerelement durch eine Vielzahl von in Strömungsrichtung hintereinanderliegenden, vorzugsweise versetzt und/oder beabstandet hintereinanderliegenden sowie von in Hochachsen- und/oder Querachsenrichtung neben- und/oder übereinanderliegenden, vorzugsweise versetzt und/oder beabstandet neben- und/oder übereinanderliegenden, unterschiedlich anstellbaren Leitklappen (8) gebildet.
