Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Anschlussenden an einem mehrere Metalllagen aufweisenden Schlauchstück, insbesondere einem gewickelten Metallschlauchstück, vorgeschlagen, indem die überlappenden Metalllagen eines Schlauches größerer Länge oder eines Endlosschlauches im Bereich der Trennstelle durch Schweißen fixiert werden, um das Schlauchstück von dem Schlauch größerer Länge oder dem Endlosschlauch sodann abzutrennen. Zur einfachen und kostengünstigen Fixierung der Metalllagen im Bereich der Trennstelle ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass eine sich zumindest um einen Teil des Umfangs des Schlauches, z. B. um den gesamten Umfang desselben, erstreckende Schweißnaht durch Rollnaht-Schweißen aufgebracht wird. Anschließend kann das Schlauchstück entlang der auf diese Weise erhaltenen Schweißnaht, z. B. entlang der Mittellinie derselben, abgetrennt werden, wobei eine dauerhafte und zuverlässige Fixierung der Metalllagen im Bereich des Anschlussendes sichergestellt ist.
